Borderlands 4 Digi-Gauntlet: R60 Full Quest Walkthrough

Every objective in the Chamber Pavilion mission, from the dying Electi to Dr. Elena Smith and the hand-in at The Blind.

Digi-Gauntlet: R60 is one of the Digi-Gauntlet collection missions on Providence Island, and it is the one that sends you underground into a Tediore research lab that nobody was supposed to see. It starts in The Upper Crust, runs through the Chamber Pavilion, and ends with a boss fight against Dr. Elena Smith before you carry the gauntlet back to Mr. Chew.

Quick answer: Accept Digi-Gauntlet: R60 from the dying Electi outside Chamber Pavilion, shoot the exposed wall fuses to drop the shields on both Ordonite reactors and destroy them, drop down the unlocked elevator shaft, collect four Server Access Cards from Elena’s guards, upload the virus, destroy the four Ordonite cores, kill Dr. Elena Smith, then fast travel to The Blind and hand the Digi-Gauntlet to Mr. Chew.

Digi-Gauntlet: R60 requirements and start location

The mission is gated behind DLC ownership. An on-screen notice spells it out plainly: all players must own FL4K and the Last Resort to progress this mission. In co-op, that applies to everyone in the session, not just the host, so a squadmate without the content will stall the group.

Getting into the Chamber Pavilion lab

Open the map, zoom into The Upper Crust on Providence Island, and drop a waypoint on Chamber Pavilion. A vehicle covers most of the run through Bagheera Range, and the last stretch uses grapple points to cross into the pavilion grounds.
Find the dying Electi lying on the ground near the entrance and interact to accept the mission. The mission description sets expectations well enough: spooky science labs typically hold spooky scientists and spooky experiments.

Push through the pavilion doors. Security turns hostile immediately, and the first rooms throw Tediore mechs, drones, and bladeframes at you across the building’s multiple levels.

Scan the yellow and purple info kiosk inside the lobby. That pulls the building layout into your map, which makes the next objective far easier to track.
Locate the two shielded Ordonite reactors. Each one is protected, and shooting the reactor directly does nothing while the shield is up.
Follow the cables running away from each reactor to an exposed fuse box on the wall. Shoot the fuse to drop that reactor’s shield, then destroy the reactor. Do this for both, and the forcefield covering the elevator shaft powers down.
Jump down the open elevator shaft into the underground complex. From there you move through maintenance tunnels while Elena and Rafa trade dialogue over the comms, and a grapple up to an upper ledge takes you into a vent that bypasses the blocked route.

Enter the surgery site and inspect the bodies on the medical tables. Elena triggers an ambush as soon as you do, so expect waves of deadframes and Tediore troops in a cramped room with limited cover.
Continue down the maintenance halls until sealed blast doors stop you. Shoot the exposed power cores beside them to unlock the doors and open the path to the server floor.

Server access cards, the virus upload, and the Ordonite cores

Clear the main server bank hall. Tediore scientists, drones, and elemental frames defend it, and the fight tends to spill across the whole room before it settles.
Interact with the central terminal to scan it. The scan fails on its own and flags Elena’s personal guards as the objective instead.

Hunt down the four elite guards. Each one drops a Server Access Card, and the objective counter only advances when you pick the card up, so sweep the room after every kill.
Insert all four cards into the servers to upload the virus. Four Ordonite cores around the room light up once the upload runs.
Shoot all four glowing cores to destroy the research. Any core you miss keeps the objective open, so check the upper levels of the room before moving on.
Clear the Toxic and Searing Frames blocking the hallway ahead, then drop into the arena to start the boss fight.

Dr. Elena Smith boss fight

Elena heals herself during the fight. She uses regenerative and vampiric abilities, which means slow, chip damage lets her claw health back and stretches the encounter out. Sustained elemental damage and your action skill are the reliable way to out-pace the healing.

She also does not fight alone for long. Adds keep feeding into the arena, and they double as her healing fuel, so keep moving and thin them out when they crowd you rather than standing still to trade shots with her.

Tip: She drops legendary gear on death alongside the mission item, so sweep the arena floor for loot beams before you leave.

Delivering the Digi-Gauntlet to Mr. Chew

Picking up the Digi-Gauntlet after the boss falls is not the end of the mission. Grab it, then open the map and fast travel to The Blind station in The Upper Crust. Run into the camp and hand the gauntlet to Mr. Chew to close out Digi-Gauntlet: R60.

You know it worked when the hand-in animation plays, the mission clears from your tracked objectives, and the XP payout lands. The other Digi-Gauntlet missions, including Some Like It Hot and Team Building, use the same delivery point, so the camp will already be familiar if you have run those.

Common reasons the quest stalls

SymptomCause and fix
Mission will not progress in co-opEvery player needs FL4K and the Last Resort. Anyone missing it blocks the session.
Reactor takes no damageIts shield is still up. Follow the cables to the exposed wall fuse and shoot that first.
Elevator shaft still blockedBoth Ordonite reactors must be destroyed before the forcefield drops.
Blast doors stay sealedExposed power cores next to the doors are still intact.
Virus will not uploadAll four Server Access Cards must be collected from the guards and inserted.
Research objective stays openOne of the four Ordonite cores is still glowing, usually on an upper level of the room.

Run end to end, R60 is a straightforward lab crawl once you know the two gates that actually stop you: the fuse boxes feeding the reactor shields, and the four access cards carried by Elena’s guards. Everything else is combat, and the only real curveball is a boss who heals faster than a low-DPS loadout can strip her.
