Break and Steal an Egg introduced its first Halloween update at 8:00 AM EDT on October 18, 2026, a Sunday. The patch brings a seasonal currency, a Halloween Merchant offering boosts and three event eggs, 15 Halloween pets listed in a new Limited section of the Index, and four map events that rotate and award the currency. An Admin Abuse session took place at launch, featuring stacked server-wide multipliers.
Quick answer: Earn Candy Corn from the random five-minute Halloween events, reach 1 billion Speed, then spend it at the Halloween Merchant next to the Trails Shop in the Forest Zone Safe Zone.
Break and Steal an Egg Halloween events: Full patch notes
Each Halloween event is randomly selected, runs for five minutes on every server, and triggers an on-screen message at the start. The developers’ changelog names the currency “Candy,” but the in-game shop, banners, and notifications call it Candy Corn. Both names refer to the same currency.
All players on a server chase the same pool of rewards during an event, so the Candy Corn goes to whoever moves first.
| Patch notes name | In-game announcement | Core objective |
|---|---|---|
| Disguised Eggs | Phantom Eggs | Find and break hidden Halloween eggs |
| Trick or Treat | House of Horrors | Smash Haunted Houses with your Pickaxe |
| BloodMoon | Blood Moon | Collect candy, dodge Pumpkin Kings, bank at spawn |
| Candy Heist | Candy Heist | Carry candy piles back to spawn without getting robbed |
Disguised Eggs (Phantom Eggs)
Eggs spawn in random zones while posing as that zone’s normal eggs. Breaking one gives Candy Corn plus slightly more Luck, scaled to the egg it was disguised as. When the event ends, any disguised eggs nobody found turn back into ordinary eggs.
Trick or Treat (House of Horrors)
Haunted Houses appear at random spots across the zones, each with its own health bar. You break them with your Pickaxe. Houses in higher areas take more hits but give better Luck and rewards.
Breaking a house won’t always earn you a reward. Some houses give you a Candy Corn treat and temporary damage buffs; others spring a trick, including a brief movement-speed penalty or a launch. Lights Out is a further trick that darkens the zones for a period. Eggs remain breakable throughout Lights Out, and any pickaxe buffs you had beforehand continue working.
Blood Moon
While Pumpkin Kings roam the map, break eggs to collect Candy Corn. You must take the candy to the safe zone at the Spawning Point to bank it; until then, getting caught means losing it. At the event’s conclusion, a notice says the Blood Moon has ended and confirms your banked Candy Corn is safe.
Candy Heist
Piles of candy spawn in every zone. Break them with your Pickaxe and run the candy back to spawn. Other players can hit you with a bat and rob you on the way. Every piece you carry lowers your movement speed, so a bigger haul makes you an easier target.

Add to Google Preferences →Halloween Merchant location and Candy Corn shop
The Halloween Merchant is a cart inside the Safe Zone of the Forest Zone, next to the Trails Shop. To trade with it, you need 1 billion Speed, which you build on the Treadmill.

The merchant sells temporary boosts you can activate whenever you want. The six boost types are Swing, Growth, Cash, Treadmill, Speed, and Candy Corn. It also sells three Halloween eggs.
| Egg | Price |
|---|---|
| Pumpkin Patch Egg | 1,000 Candy Corn |
| Scarecrow Egg | 5,000 Candy Corn |
| Bone Crypt Egg | 25,000 Candy Corn |
A purchased egg goes straight to your base plot. The purchase worked if the egg shows up on your plot, and once it is ready a hatch prompt appears. One Bone Crypt Egg hatched into a Divine Bone Rat earning $43.6M/s, which gives a sense of what the top egg can roll.
You can also take Robux shortcuts: buy the x2 Candy Corn gamepass in the shop to double your earnings, or purchase a 20K Candy Corn pack through the Shop menu.
Prices, stock, and boost offers can change between servers and patches, so confirm the live cost at the cart before spending.
Limited Index: 15 Halloween pets
The Halloween pets live in a new Limited tab of the Index menu. There are 15 of them, and each belongs to a different rarity. The panel starts at 0/15 with a claim area, and every slot is an empty silhouette until you hatch that pet. Void and Inferno tier animals are among the outlines.

The tab is the quickest way to check which event pets you still need, since a slot fills in as soon as you own that pet. For the ceiling, developer Monk showed a giant Void elephant earning $9.6T/s at his base, next to Omega, Celestial, and Inferno pets.
Halloween Admin Abuse boosts in Planet X Zone
The launch Admin Abuse session was held in the Planet X Zone. Admins filled the area with huge Titanic eggs, then applied server-wide multipliers in two successive waves.
| Wave | Multiplier | Boosts | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | x2 | Cash, Pickaxe Swing, Treadmill Speed | Not stated |
| Second | x5 | Egg Luck, Cash, Treadmill Speed, Egg Growth | 10 minutes |
During the session, you can use Auto Swing on Plasma Eggs and Titanic Celestial eggs. Check an egg’s health bar to track its remaining health before it breaks. A boost is active once its icon shows on screen and an admin announces it in the server. Admin Abuse lasted far less than the full event window, and no separate schedule for the session was published.
Halloween Part 1 event window
The Roblox listing gave the Halloween update and Admin Abuse a 24-hour run, starting at 8:00 AM EDT on October 18 and ending at 8:00 AM EDT, Monday, October 19, 2026. That end time is now in the past. The Halloween Merchant and its goods are limited-time, but the event card’s closure does not confirm that the shop or every event shut down then. Visit the Forest Zone Safe Zone in a live server to check what remains available.
This is the first half of the Halloween update. No official release date for Part 2 is currently confirmed.
