Breathedge 2 Chapter 1 Collectibles Guide (All 50 Locations)

Every toy, poster, book, and blueprint in Chapter 1, plus the two door codes and tools each pickup needs.

Every toy, poster, book, and blueprint in Chapter 1, plus the two door codes and tools each pickup needs.

Chapter 1 of Breathedge 2 hides 50 collectibles across the crashed train, the Outskirts, the bus depot, the gym district, the auto shop asteroids, and the clock tower. They fill in the in-game encyclopedia, and most of them are simply floating or pinned somewhere along routes you already fly for quests. The handful that are not open pickups sit behind two number codes, two crafted tools, and a couple of progression checks.

Quick answer: Craft the Twister and the Cutter before you start sweeping, punch 0861 into the train’s front cab door and 8192 into locker B5 under the clock tower, and the remaining collectibles can be picked up in one loop that runs train → Outskirts → bus depot → PornHubble → gym → 10G tower → auto shop → clock tower.

What the 50 Chapter 1 collectibles are made up of

The encyclopedia sorts everything you pick up into categories, and the current Early Access build (version 0.8.5) fills all but one of them. Video tapes exist as a heading with nothing in it yet, so do not waste time hunting for one.

Codes, tools, and progression gates you need first

Six pickups are blocked until you have the right key. Everything else is grab-on-sight. Sorting these out before the sweep saves a second trip across the whole station.

GateWhat it opens
Cab door code 0861The train’s front cabin, holding the Brewcopter
Locker code B5-8192Locker B5 in the clock tower, holding the Singing cat
TwisterTrain luggage compartment, the broken train piece in the Outskirts, and the ice ship door
CutterPolice station interior and the bus depot
Main story progressAccess to the PornHubble, where the Xatab toy sits
Auto shop side missionsThe auto shop basement, which holds the BEER blueprint

Both codes are written in the world rather than handed to you by a quest. The cab code is printed on the front of the train itself, and the locker code appears on the wall just below the clock tower entrance, formatted as B5-8192. Walk up to the cab door, use the keypad, and enter 0861.

Starting train collectibles (6)

The train car and the platform around it hold six pickups, and two of them need something extra. The Lootbox only appears once you plug the septic hose into the train, which pops a hatch on the exterior. The luggage compartment underneath needs the Twister to undo its fasteners.

Outskirts, police station, and playground collectibles (9)

This is the densest cluster in the chapter. Start at the Attendant, work past the police station, then finish at the broken train piece near the playground. That wreck holds two pickups at once, including the first newspaper fragment, so open it with the Twister and look around inside rather than grabbing the obvious item and leaving.

Turret, train tracks, and the route to the depot (4)

The giant turret area covers three pickups, and the fourth is easy to fly straight past. The Lucky ticket is held by a corpse floating near the turret’s ticket machine, and the Chipmunk is sitting right at the far end of the train tracks. On the way toward the bus depot, watch for a broken vehicle roughly halfway along the trip with the Missing pump poster stuck to it.

Bus depot and ice ship collectibles (4)

Both structures here are locked in different ways. The depot needs the Cutter to get in, while the frozen ship next to it needs the Twister on its door. Once you are inside the ice ship, check it twice, because the “Humans only” sign and the “Thank you” penguin are both in there.

PornHubble, tube elevator, and gym collectibles (5)

The Xatab toy is the one item in this stretch you cannot rush. The PornHubble only opens up as the main story pushes you through it, so leave that entry unchecked until the quest takes you inside. Everything else nearby is free to collect whenever you pass, including the Seamoth blueprint sitting in a broken ship below the gym.

10G tower and weird toilet collectibles (4)

Three of these are clustered around the odd toilet that floats past the 10G tower, so treat that spot as one stop rather than three. The BrewRay bottle is stuffed into a hole nearby, which is the only pickup here that is genuinely easy to fly over.

Auto shop and asteroid collectibles (11)

The auto shop region is the biggest single haul in the chapter, with 11 pickups split between the shop interior and the asteroid field around it. Four of them are posters and notices tied to Chuck, and one is the only Photos-category collectible in the game so far, tucked inside the taxi cab.

The BEER blueprint is the exception. It sits in the auto shop basement, and that basement stays sealed until you have cleared the side missions in the area. If the door will not respond, you still have work outstanding there.

Final toilet and clock tower collectibles (7)

Save the clock tower for last, because it closes out the count. The Colonovirus trophy is on the roof, so climb before you go in. Read the wall below the entrance to pick up B5-8192, then open locker B5 inside with 8192 for the Singing cat. The Anti-Chafe powder is sitting on a table beside the workbench, which is the pickup most players walk straight past on their way to the locker.

How to confirm you have all 50 and what usually goes missing

Each pickup registers in the encyclopedia the moment you grab it, and the counter ticks up toward 50. If you are short, check the entry categories rather than retracing the whole map. An empty slot under Toys points you somewhere very different than a gap under Posters.

Only a few things reliably stall a completed count. The PornHubble stays shut until the story sends you in, so the Xatab entry can sit blank through an otherwise thorough sweep. The auto shop basement stays locked while side missions in that area are unfinished, which holds the BEER blueprint. And the two-item wreck near the playground catches people out, since the Coffinbot’s luggage and the newspaper fragment share the same Twister-opened interior.

Note: Breathedge 2 is still in Early Access, so the encyclopedia list can grow as new content lands. The 50-item total covers Chapter 1 as it currently stands, including the video tapes category that has no entries yet.

The most efficient way to run all of this is to hold off on collectible hunting until you have both tools and the story has opened the PornHubble, then do a single loop outward from the train. Everything else is either lying in the open or behind a number you can read off a wall.
