Coins buy almost everything worth having in Cat Battles, including furs, emotes, effects, and the abilities that keep you in the ring. Hairball alone costs 12,000. Matches pay coins slowly, so most of your early balance comes from one-time bonuses and daily claims. Collect those first, then start grinding.
Quick answer: Redeem the five promo codes for 1,150 coins and join the Cute Malt Games group for 500. Each day, claim your login reward and the free x1.25 boost, then play matches. A knockout pays 10 coins and a win pays 50.

Add to Google Preferences →One-time coins: Cat Battles codes and the group bonus
Claim these before you start grinding. Together they come to 2,650 coins if you redeem every promo code, the current community code, and the group reward. That covers the 2,000-coin Anchor ability before you play a single round.
Active promo codes
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
YARNZ2K | 250 coins |
1KCHONKY | 250 coins |
CATS | 150 coins |
NEWGAME | 250 coins |
RELEASE | 250 coins |
No codes have expired so far. Codes are case-sensitive in practice, so paste them exactly as written above.
A successful redemption adds the coins straight to the balance shown on your HUD. Check that number before and after each code. If it doesn’t change, the code didn’t go through.
Community code and group reward in the Shop
Open the Shop and switch to the Coins tab. It has two separate one-time rewards. The first is a code bar labeled “Join our community channels! Code in the announcements!” that pays +1000 Coins. That code is posted in the announcements on the official Cat Battles Discord, and you enter it with Paste code, then Redeem. The second is a Join button for the developer group, Cute Malt Games, which credits +500 coins the moment you join.

Roblox limits how many communities one account can join. If you’re already at the cap, the join fails with “You have joined the maximum number of communities,” and you won’t get the 500 coins until you leave another group.
Daily coins: login streak, quests, and the free boost
Three things reset daily, and all of them are worth claiming every time you log in.
7-day login streak
Select the gift-box icon at the HUD’s upper-left corner to open Daily rewards. Coin rewards grow with each consecutive day, but day seven gives a Fur Egg Tier 1 instead of coins. Across six consecutive days, the coin rewards add up to 700.

| Streak day | Reward |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | 50 coins |
| Day 2 | 75 coins |
| Day 3 | 100 coins |
| Day 4 | 125 coins |
| Day 5 | 150 coins |
| Day 6 | 200 coins |
| Day 7 | Fur Egg Tier 1 |
After you claim, the menu shows a “Come back in” countdown and a “Streak” counter. Those confirm that the day counted.
Daily quests
- Play 10 matches: 150 coins
- Win 3 matches: 175 coins
- Play 3 matches with a friend: 150 coins
That’s 475 coins a day on top of what the matches themselves pay. The friend quest is the easiest to miss, so queue with someone at least three times.
Daily free coin boost
The top of the Shop’s Coins tab has “Daily free coin boost!” with a Claim button. It multiplies coin earnings by x1.25 for 10 minutes and resets every 24 hours. You’ll see a “Resets in” timer once it’s used. The boost runs on the clock, so claim it right before you queue rather than while you’re idling in the lobby.
Match coins: knockouts and wins
Matches are the only unlimited source. Every opponent you throw out of the arena pays 10 coins, and winning the round pays 50. A round with several knockouts and a win can out-earn a whole day of login rewards, so aggressive play is worth more than hiding near the center.
Before queuing, check the AFK mode toggle on the left side of the HUD. With AFK on, you stay out of rounds, which is useful when you step away. Turn it off to get pulled into the next match.
Grabbing an opponent, lifting them, and carrying them to the edge lands knockouts much faster than trading punches. Dash comes equipped by default and closes distance quickly. When Sudden Death starts, knockback increases sharply and single hits can fling cats off the map, which makes it the best stretch of a round for stacking those 10-coin knockouts.
Lobby obby chest
The lobby has a floating obstacle course with a chest at the end. Reaching it pays roughly 10 coins, about the same as one knockout. It’s a small top-up while you wait for a round, not a farming route.

Robux coin multipliers and packs
If you’re willing to spend, the Coins tab sells two permanent multipliers that apply to every match, plus direct coin packs.
| Purchase | What you get | Robux |
|---|---|---|
| VIP | x1.25 coins from every match | 199 |
| Double Coins | 2x coins from every match | 349 |
| Coin pack | 750 coins | 49 |
| Coin pack | 2,500 coins (+10%) | 149 |
| Coin pack | 7,500 coins (+23%) | 399 |
| Coin pack | 20,000 coins (+31%) | 999 |
The multipliers boost match payouts, the knockout and win coins, rather than one-off rewards, so they only pay off if you play a lot of rounds. The limited-event Fairy Bundle in the lobby also includes 500 coins alongside a fur, the Shark Attack ability, and a finisher, priced at 199 Robux while its discount runs.
For a free player, the order is simple. Bank the 2,650 one-time coins, then return every day for the streak, the three quests, and a boosted 10 minutes of matches. Each knockout and win in those rounds pushes you toward your next ability.
