Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again) picks up the moment Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest ends, dropping you back in front of Braveheart Grove’s Everoak Tree with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore. The colors have vanished from a nearby drawing, and restoring them is what eventually clears the fog and lets Piglet move into Honeyglow Woods for good.
Quick answer: Collect pink, blue, and yellow paint for the Everoak Tree drawing by talking to Piglet and Eeyore and following the dark blue paint trail, photograph three locations Pooh visited, then gather Tree Resin (10), Driftwood (10), Soft Limestone (10), and Golden Honey (5) to repair the Shortcut Bridge. Finishing the bridge makes Piglet join your village.

Find the pink paint near the river
After the group finishes discussing the faded drawing, your first job is to search Braveheart Grove for the missing paints. Start at the southern end of the river and walk north along its bank until a new objective appears telling you to talk to Piglet.
Piglet has found some pink paint and hands it over to bring back to the Everoak Tree. Return it to the tree, but be ready for a small twist. One color is not enough, so you will need to keep hunting for more paint around the biome before the entrance opens.

Follow the blue paint trail to Piglet’s House
The next step is to follow a series of dark blue paint marks scattered across Braveheart Grove. The first two sit near the bridge that links the biome to the Everoak Tree, and the rest are spread out around the region.
Keep tracing the trail, and it loops around until it ends at Piglet’s House. Head inside and you will find Eeyore, who admits he simply has some blue paint on his tail. He gives you the blue paint to carry back to the Everoak Tree drawing.

Photograph the three places Winnie the Pooh visited
Once the blue paint is applied and you have spoken to Piglet again, look for Winnie the Pooh to hear what he remembers. He retraces his recent steps and describes three spots, and your task becomes taking a picture at each one.
| Photo target | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Big waterfall with acorns | Near Piglet’s House |
| Sturdy bridge | Where you first played Pooh Sticks |
| Broken bridge | Between Drowsybloom Acre and Braveheart Grove |
The hardest part is framing each shot correctly, and the broken bridge is the fussiest of the three. Line up the camera so the point of interest fills the frame before you snap it.
Bring all three photos back to Pooh Bear. He recognizes something important, rushes toward the broken bridge, and asks whether you can fix it so he and Piglet finally have a shortcut between their homes.

Gather materials to repair the Shortcut Bridge
Repairing the Shortcut Bridge requires four resources gathered from around Honeyglow Woods and the wider valley.
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Tree Resin | 10 |
| Driftwood | 10 |
| Soft Limestone | 10 |
| Golden Honey | 5 |

How to know the quest is finished
After the bridge is fixed, speak to Piglet, Eeyore, and Pooh Bear to collect the final yellow paint for the Everoak Tree drawing. Piglet then officially joins your village, which confirms the quest is complete.
Adding Piglet as a resident closes out Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again) and rolls straight into Interlude 3: The Shadowy Surprise, so expect the next story beat to begin immediately.
