Piglet is terrified of the fog rolling through Honeyglow Woods, and Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest hands you the job of bringing the forest’s missing sounds back so it feels calm again. The quest begins the moment you finish Chapter 7: A Voice Behind the Door, and it plays out as three connected crafting tasks that end at the Everoak Tree.
Quick answer: Craft a Chime Arch and a Buzzing Hive Cluster and place both in Braveheart Grove, then make a Prickle-Popper Potion to clear the Twistroots around the Babbling Pond, and finally gather the repair materials to fix the pond. Talking to Piglet at the Everoak Tree completes the chapter and starts Chapter 9.
Craft the Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster
As you walk the woods with Piglet, he points out two quiet spots where the bird chirps and bee buzzing have gone missing. To restore those sounds you need to build two items, and both share a single pool of materials.
| Material | Amount |
|---|---|
| Sweet Chestnut | 5 |
| Oak Leaves | 6 |
| Soft Limestone | 5 |
| Yellow & Orange Foxglove | 5 |
| Yellow Thistle | 3 |
| Tree Resin | 5 |
| Golden Honey | 8 |
| Honey Agate | 4 |
Most of these come from the Honeyglow Woods main story, so you likely already have them. Yellow & Orange Foxglove and Yellow Thistle are the two new pieces here. Both are flowers that can appear anywhere in Honeyglow Woods, so a quick sweep across Drowsybloom Acre, Gloommeadow, and Braveheart Grove will usually turn up what you need.
If Golden Honey is running short, check that your Busy Bee hives still have flowers nearby. Flowers dry out faster in this region than in Valley Village, so they can vanish if you have not watered recently. You can also hunt for extra Busy Bee boxes and build a couple more hives to boost your supply.
Once all eight materials are in hand, head to a crafting station and make both the Chime Arch and the Buzzing Hive Cluster. Place both anywhere inside Braveheart Grove, then return to Piglet.

Make the Prickle-Popper Potion
The Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster do not settle the forest the way Piglet hoped. After more walking, he gets anxious and leads you to his special spot. He asks you to grab some important instructions from his house, which turn out to be the recipe for a Prickle-Popper Potion. You need this potion to clear the stumps blocking the way to the pond.
| Material | Amount |
|---|---|
| Rose & Cream Foxglove | 5 |
| Purple & White Foxglove | 5 |
| Driftwood | 5 |
| Shiny Honey Agate | 2 |
| Truffle | 5 |
Gathering these follows the same rhythm as before. Clear flowers and wait for fresh ones to spawn for the two Foxglove types, break stumps for Driftwood, and mine rock nodes for Shiny Honey Agate. Keep an eye on the ground for Truffles poking up across the biomes you pass through.

With all five items collected, craft the Prickle-Popper Potion at a crafting station. Use it from your inventory to clear the large Twistroots wrapped around the Babbling Pond you visited with Piglet. Clearing them also refills your Driftwood supply, which you will want for the next task.
Repair the Babbling Pond and finish the chapter
With the Twistroots gone, the last job is fixing the pond itself. This is a straightforward repair that asks for a larger batch of materials you have been collecting throughout Honeyglow Woods.
| Material | Amount |
|---|---|
| Soft Limestone | 15 |
| Tree Resin | 10 |
| Driftwood | 10 |
| Honey Agate | 4 |
| Oak Leaves | 10 |
Return to the Babbling Pond with everything in hand and use the materials to repair it. The fix comes with an unexpected side effect that sends you toward the Everoak Tree to sort out. Walk up to the entrance and talk to Piglet there.
That conversation closes out Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest and immediately rolls you into Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again). If the quest tracker updates to the new chapter, you know the repair registered correctly and there is nothing left to do in this one.
