Dylan’s Sketchbook is a collection activity scattered across Manhattan in Control Resonant. Each entry is a small staged scene that has fallen apart, with its props knocked loose nearby. Reach the spot, put every piece back where it belongs, and Dylan draws the finished scene. There are 11 in total, spread over seven regions, and clearing them all is what earns the Work-Life Balance trophy.
Quick answer: Travel to all 11 Sketchbook spots across seven regions, gather the scattered props, place them correctly, then press R3 to draw. The eleventh sketch unlocks the Work-Life Balance trophy.

| Drawing | Region | Scene to rebuild |
|---|---|---|
| Beach Day | Downtown | Umbrella and chairs on a tarp |
| Rooftop Oasis | Downtown | Bird statues on a wooden deck |
| Live On Stage | Central | Instruments on a rug |
| The Cat Picnic | Central | Picnic items on a blanket |
| Halloween Party | West Incursion Zone | Pumpkin and ghost decor |
| Dream House | Evacuation Zone | A model house |
| Robotics | Evacuation Zone | A robot with arms and legs |
| The Dragon and The Knight | The Park | A dragon shape on Mold |
| Space Adventure | Underpass | Rocket and flag scene |
| Art Exhibition | The Unknown | Art pieces on stands |
| Game Night | The Unknown | A tabletop game setup |
How each Sketchbook scene works
Every scene shows up on the map as a Secret, marked with a question mark that resolves into an eye icon when you get close. Step into the marker and you can view the intended layout. The missing props sit somewhere in the immediate area, and each one carries a yellow dashed outline showing exactly where it goes.
Pick up a prop, carry it to its marked target, and drop it into place. Once the arrangement matches, an L1 prompt appears with the scene’s name. Press R3 to Draw and the entry is finished. Some spots gate behind traversal powers, so you will need Reach and Shift from the early Jesse Fault questlines to reach the rooftops, and several regions only open after you progress the main story.

Beach Day
This is usually the first one you meet. It sits east of the Oldest House in Downtown, near the Outside the Oldest House fast travel door, at a construction site marked by a large “A New You Awaits” billboard.
Grab the beach umbrella beside the billboard and set it on the blue tarp, then fetch the beach chair from the alley behind the billboard. Line the chairs up side by side with the umbrella positioned behind them until the layout matches the beach scene.

With everything in place, the Beach Day prompt appears and Dylan draws the scene beneath the billboard.

Rooftop Oasis (Birdwatcher’s Paradise)
In Downtown, find the rooftop on the building east of the West Supply Route Station, close to the Gravity Town fast travel door. Reach lets you climb up. The roof has a wooden patio deck dotted with pigeon statues and potted plants.
Collect the bird statues and plants and set them back onto the wooden floor. As each piece lands in place, the deck fills back out into a small rooftop garden.

Once every statue is down, the Birdwatcher’s paradise prompt shows and Dylan sketches the deck.

Central sketches
Both Central entries open up once you’ve progressed the main story in the district. The Cat Picnic and Live On Stage sit fairly close together on the Central map.

Live On Stage (One Man Band)
Starting at Central’s Field Office fast travel door, travel southwest to a hotel marked by a green light above its entrance. The hotel occupies the Collector’s apartment building. Go inside, climb one floor, and enter the puzzle room through its open doorway. Shift must be unlocked to access this area of Central.
Inside, a rug forms the stage. Place the electric guitars, keyboard, cymbal, and bass onto it in a band setup to complete the One Man Band sketch.

The Cat Picnic
Find the courtyard east of Central’s Dry Site Threshold point of interest, nearest to the Central Frontline fast travel door. A bench runs along the courtyard’s north side, with the checkered picnic mat beside it.
Recover the nearby basket, saucers, and toy cats, then return all three to the mat. Dylan draws the scene once the picnic is restored.
West Incursion Zone: Halloween Party
For the simplest route, start from Central’s Field Office fast travel point. Take the road north of the West Incursion Zone Checkpoint to its end at an “Urban Fresh” store. Use Reach to access the roof, where you’ll find the decorated party table.
Restore the scene by picking up the pumpkin stack and the ghost decoration and placing them around the patio table, along with the skeleton. With the props back in position, the Halloween Party sketch completes.
Evacuation Zone sketches
Unlock the south side of the Evacuation Zone through the Garage Door after the main story to reach both of these.
Dream House
Find the rooftop of the building south of Railyard Street Station, near the Railyard Street fast travel door. As you cross it, a distant light will reveal an unfinished model house.
Gather the nearby roof panel, potted plant, wall board, chimney pipe, and doghouse front. Carry each piece to the frame and fasten it in place. With every part attached, the house is complete and ready to draw.
Robotics (Cool Robot)
Head south of the “Unauthorized Mines?” point of interest, closest to the Survivalist’s Bunker fast travel door. Enter the alley to your south and follow it to a door at the far end, which leads inside a building. A half-built robot sits against the south wall.
Use the nearby ventilation pipe sections and limbs to build out the robot’s arms and legs. When the figure is complete, it’s ready to sketch.

The Park: The Dragon and The Knight
At Park Valley Station in The Park, descend into the subway and go past the security checkpoint. Turn left to locate a second staircase, then take it down to the Mold-covered platform.
Shape the mold mound with benches and boards for wings, then use traffic cones as spikes. Dylan calls the result a dragon, bringing the sketch to a close.
The Park tends to have higher-level base enemies, so it’s worth returning here around power level 3–4 rather than very early.
Underpass: Space Adventure
The Underpass opens after you complete the Recursions and Iterations main story quest. This scene sits northeast of the Research Site point of interest, closest to the Halway Trail fast travel door. Look for a US flag with a floodlight standing beside it. Since the Research Site shifts during the main story, it’s easiest to return once that quest is done, then Reach northwest from the Research fast travel point.
Place the lunar lander replica on the yellow X and set the smaller statue atop the wooden box. Position the American flag, astronaut mannequin, and alien figure around them to depict a moon landing. Dylan sketches the Spaceship Landing scene.

The Unknown sketches
Both final scenes sit in the Unknown, which you reach by progressing the Hedron Links stretch of the main story and chipping away until the level opens up to explore.
Art Exhibition
In the center of the Unknown, nearest the Twisted Rooftops fast travel door, go into the Konstig art gallery. Inside, find the scene on a line of display pedestals.
Lift the artworks off the floor and place them on the stands from left to right: the metallic sphere on the first podium, the pipe cluster on the second, the star-shaped bent metal sculpture on the third, and the last piece on the far-right stand. That restores the exhibit and completes the drawing.
Game Night
On the floating island in the southeast of the Unknown, reachable via the Factory Island fast travel door and a gravity well over to the smaller island, find the building under construction. Climb in using the blue containers beside it, then take the stairs down to the lower floor.
Take the board game box from the hall’s rear shelf and add the pizza box and miniature figures. Bring the wizard-hatted mannequin over and position it beside the chair at the tabletop gaming table. Completing the arrangement finishes Game Night.

Trophy reward and how to confirm it unlocked
Every completed sketch joins the Archives > Dylan’s Sketchbook collectible set, which contains all 11 entries. A scene is complete when Dylan draws it and its matching entry appears. The order is up to you, but all 11 scenes must be drawn.
Completing the eleventh scene immediately fires the Work-Life Balance trophy and achievement, worth 40 Gamerscore on Xbox and an Ultra Rare unlock on PlayStation. It also grants the Unfinished Lollipop Artifact, which increases damage by Secondary Aberrant Forms by 10%, along with an Undefined Reading and the Game Night sketch document. Once the notification appears, the set is filled out in full and nothing else is required.
