Control Resonant: Every Dog Has Her Day Dog and Toy Locations

Every Dog Has Her Day is an optional side story in Control Resonant that sends you across Manhattan looking for a mysterious dog and her missing dragon toy. Each of the seven major regions holds one encounter. You find the dog, track down her blue dragon toy nearby, and drop the toy into her basket to close out that stop.

Quick answer: There are seven dog encounters (one per region). Talk to each dog, grab the dragon toy hidden close by, and place it in her bed. Doing all seven unlocks the Dog’s Best Friend achievement.

All dog and dragon toy locations in Control Resonant

The dog usually appears on your map once you get close to her spot, so you rarely have to search blind. The dragon toy is always tucked away somewhere near the dog. Here is where to find both in every region.

The Chowrap billboard is a reliable landmark in several regions. In the Evacuation Zone, West Incursion Zone, Central, and Downtown, spotting that billboard puts you within a few jumps of either the dog or the toy.

How each encounter works

Find the mysterious dog. Downtown is the quickest place to trigger the side story for the first time, but any region works. Approach the marked rooftop and speak with her.

Search the immediate area for the blue dragon toy. It is always close to the dog, often one rooftop over or directly below where she sits. In the Evacuation Zone you may even reach the toy before the dog, since it rests near the access door on the roof beneath her.

Pick up the toy and carry it straight back to the dog. Do not stray too far while holding it, or the toy vanishes, and you have to grab it again.

Place the dragon toy in her basket. That completes the encounter for that region.

The Underpass toy sits on a ceiling affected by a gravity anomaly, so you need the Gravity ability to reach it. You most likely pass this dog while working through the Recursions and Iterations mission.

Reward and how to confirm completion

Deliver all seven dragon toys to the dog to earn the Dog’s Best Friend achievement. Seeing that notification confirms the side story is complete, and seven encounters make up the entire set, so no eighth stop exists.
