Crimson Desert update 1.12 from Pearl Abyss drops eight new equipment pieces into the game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Most of the gear is for Kliff, with one item for Damiane and one accessory shared by all three playable characters. Here is exactly what each piece does, how much it costs, and where you buy it.
Quick answer: Buy the three Greymane items from Carl the Camp Provisioner at Greymane Camp using Greymane Contribution Tokens, and buy the five new Kliff helmets from the Equipment Shops in Varnia, Stronghelm Forge (east Demeniss), and Thalwynd (Calphade). None of them are best-in-slot, so pick them for looks, not stats.
All 8 new equipment pieces in update 1.12
The new gear breaks down into three Greymane-themed items sold for tokens and five plate helmets sold for in-game currency at standard equipment shops. The table below lists who can equip each item, its maximum stats, and where to find it.
| Item (character) | Max stats | Where to buy |
|---|---|---|
| Greymane Light Armor (Kliff) | 30 Defense, 3 locked Abyss Gear slots, no elemental resistances | Carl at Greymane Camp, 7 tokens |
| Honorary Greymane Cloth Gloves (Damiane) | 18 Attack, 6 Defense, Attack Speed Lv 3, 2 locked Abyss Gear slots | Carl at Greymane Camp, 7 tokens |
| Greymane Signet (all characters) | 11 Attack, Critical Rate Lv 1, +2% Stamina Regen | Carl at Greymane Camp, 65 tokens |
| Silent Conqueror Plate Helm (Kliff) | 18 Defense, 1 Abyss Gear slot | Equipment Shop in Varnia |
| Sentinel of Tenacity Helm (Kliff) | 21 Defense, 1 slot | Stronghelm Forge, east Demeniss |
| Feral Sentinel Helm (Kliff) | 18 Defense, 1 slot | Equipment Shop at Stronghelm Forge, east Demeniss |
| Sentinel of Trust Helm (Kliff) | 17 Defense, 1 slot | Equipment Shop at Stronghelm Forge, east Demeniss |
| Steelmaw Plate Helm (Kliff) | 17 Defense, 1 slot | Equipment Shop in Thalwynd, Calphade |
Greymane gear from Carl at Greymane Camp
Three of the new pieces are bought from Carl the Camp Provisioner at Greymane Camp, and all of them cost Greymane Contribution Tokens. You earn those tokens by completing quests and activities in the surrounding region.
The Greymane Light Armor is exclusive to Kliff and costs 7 tokens. It is a casual leather set that tops out at 30 Defense with three locked Abyss Gear slots and no elemental resistances. The armor is not dyeable.
The Honorary Greymane Cloth Gloves are for Damiane and also cost 7 tokens. These brown cloth gloves reach 18 Attack, 6 Defense, and Attack Speed Lv 3 at maximum, with the standard two locked Abyss Gear slots. Unlike most of the new gear, these gloves are dyeable.
The Greymane Signet is the most expensive item in the update at 65 tokens, but it is available to all three playable characters. The ring maxes out at 11 Attack and Critical Rate Lv 1, and it adds +2% Stamina Regen. It is more of a status piece than a min-max choice.

Five new Kliff helmets and where to find them
Kliff gets five new helmets in 1.12, and every one of them lets you lift the visor. The Silent Conqueror Plate Helm sells at the Equipment Shop in Varnia, reaches 18 Defense with a single Abyss Gear slot, and is the only one of the five that is dyeable.
Three more come from Stronghelm Forge in east Demeniss, which you may need to reach by progressing the main story. The Sentinel of Tenacity Helm has the highest defense of the group at 21, while the Feral Sentinel Helm tops out at 18 and the Sentinel of Trust Helm at 17. All three have one socket and are not dyeable.
The last helmet, the Steelmaw Plate Helm, is sold at the Equipment Shop in Thalwynd in Calphade. It maxes at 17 Defense with one socket and is not dyeable.

Are any of the new items best-in-slot?
No. None of the eight pieces carry unique perks, special effects, or elemental resistances, so they will not help you push peak stats. If your goal is to maximize a build, skip them. If you simply like how a helmet or the Greymane set looks, the game is forgiving enough that you can wear any of them without a real penalty.
The gear arrives alongside the rest of update 1.12, which adds outdoor house decoration, 58 new craftable items, Workstations and Looms, and the ability for Damiane and Oongka to equip Visiones, read memories, and ride Blackstar. You can read the full breakdown in the official patch notes.
