Tokugawa is forged from the legacy of one of the oldest and most influential clans in Dokkōdō history, the Mōri. Built on that foundation, it has evolved into a clan filled with some of the most knowledgeable, skilled and experienced players Dokkōdō has to offer. What sets it apart is its superior technical knowledge, constantly refined through years of gameplay experience, which allows the clan to create new playstyles and techniques to stay countless steps ahead of its opponents. If you want to join a clan that doesn’t follow the meta, but defines it, Tokugawa is where you belong.
Minamoto Clan

Previously bound under the rule of their former lords, the Warriors of Minamoto chose to walk their own path, one where every voice is heard and every blade carries meaning. Minamoto is the Clan of the Free, united not by power or command but by respect and brotherhood. Its strength lies in choice and loyalty in its own, and those who seek freedom and purpose will find a home here.
Shimazu clan
Shimazu is forged from the legacy of one of the most fierce, loyal, and unyielding warrior clans in Japanese history. Built on that foundation, it has evolved into a clan filled with some of the most disciplined, iron-willed, and skilled blacksmiths Dokkōdō has to offer. What sets it apart is its master blacksmithing craft and tactical warfare, combining the finest forged steel with a calm and peaceful environment, which allows it to supply its warriors with superior gear and maintain absolute focus on the battlefield to stay countless steps ahead of its opponents. If you want to join a clan that doesn’t rely on chaos, but thrives on quiet strength, exceptional craftsmanship, and historical honor, Shimazu is where you belong.
Hōjō Clan
The Hōjō clan is a large, highly structured, roleplay heavy clan dedicated to building a lasting legacy within Dokkodo. It offers far more than just combat alone, providing an immersive roleplay experience and active community where members can sharpen their skills, receive guidance and support from experienced clan members, and take part in coordinated faction events, large scale battles and raids, and help shape clan history. It is a structured and active community spanning multiple regions and time zones, with over 450 members and growing. The clan offers combat trainings, formation trainings, rallies, raids, and wars designed to develop individual skill and strengthen faction coordination, with clear pathways for progression through the ranks into leadership roles that let you lead these events for clan members. Every member becomes part of a constantly evolving story, where their actions directly shape the history and legacy of the clan; wars, alliances, political developments, rivalries, major promotions, major disciplinary actions, events, and other major moments are all recorded in the “Hōjō Clan Lore” channel, which is visible to all (even non clan members) who join the server.
Clan Mechanics
Joining and creating clans are in-game systems. The table summarizes what each one needs, with the step-by-step detail below it.
| Action | Requirement / How it works |
|---|---|
| Joining a Clan | Get an invite from someone already in a clan |
| Creating a Clan | Commander’s Favor and 1000 Mon, performed at Nijo Castle |
| Clan name (feature) | Your clan name gets changed to the name of the clan you’re currently in |
To join a clan, you need an invite from someone in one. To invite a player, the inviter holds out their Clan Flag and clicks on someone with it; that player then gets a pop up to join the clan with an “Accept” and a “Decline” button.
To create a clan, you must first have the Commander’s Favor and 1000 Mon. Once you’ve got that, go to Nijo Castle and sit down on one of the Tatami Mats, then click the option “I Wish To Establish A Clan”. A GUI with a bunch of customization options will pop up; once you’ve customized it, click the Create button. While you are in a clan, your clan name gets changed to the name of the clan you’re currently in.
Whether you aim to apply for official status or simply join an existing community, the six clans above represent the recognized groups within Dokkōdō, each with its own focus, leadership, and Discord server to get you started.
