The Doom Slayer is crossing over into Call of Duty. He headlines The Haunting, the Halloween-themed Season 6 for Black Ops 7 and Warzone, which layers a full Doom collaboration on top of the usual spooky maps, limited-time modes, and seasonal cosmetics.
Quick answer: The Haunting (Season 6) goes live on September 17, 2026 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The Doom event pass, which includes the Doom Slayer Operator, arrives shortly after on September 24.

When The Haunting launches
The season begins on September 17, 2026 across every platform where Black Ops 7 and Warzone are available. This is the game’s final major content drop before Activision moves its attention to Modern Warfare 4, so the event is scheduled to run for roughly a month.

Add to Google Preferences →Doom Slayer and the Doom event pass
The Doom Slayer comes to Black Ops 7 and Warzone through a limited-time Doom event pass. The pass is split into a free track and a premium track, so you can pick up some items at no cost while the marquee content sits behind the paid tier.
The Slayer ships with two looks. One is the Doom Slayer Operator modeled on Doom: The Dark Ages, and the other is a classic Doomguy skin that matches the character’s original armor. Doom weaponry rounds out the set, including the Roc 20mm Special Weapon, the Crucible Blade, the shotgun, and the BFG.
- Free tier: Doom-inspired skins such as a UAC scientist and researcher, weapon charms, and additional cosmetics.
- Premium tier: the Doom Slayer Operator skin and the more sought-after weapon blueprints.

Doom Demonic Essence Pack contents
A separate Doom-themed Tracer Pack, the Doom Demonic Essence Pack, leans on the Slayer’s enemies rather than the hero. It bundles operator skins, weapon blueprints, and matching cosmetics.
| Cosmetic | Type |
|---|---|
| “Marauder” Jurado (Guild) | Operator skin |
| “Icon of Sin” Samuels (JSOC) | Operator skin |
| “Hellish Argent” M15 Mod 0 | Assault rifle (Tracers, Death FX) |
| “Putrid Essence” Dravec 45 | SMG (Tracers, Death FX) |
| “Marauder’s Axe” Mace | Melee weapon blueprint |
| “Futile” | Finishing move |
| “Prepared to Destroy” | Emote |
| “Cacodemon” | Weapon charm |
| “Death Wave” | Animated emblem |
| “Hell Invasion” | Animated calling card |
| “OG Icon” | Sticker |
Battle Pass operators and returning weapons
Outside the Doom crossover, the Season 6 Battle Pass adds The Warden as an unlockable Operator and brings back Danny “Blackjack” Li. On the weapon side, the VMP submachine gun from Black Ops 3 returns as part of the same pass.
New maps, rethemed maps, and modes
The Haunting reworks existing maps into darker, nighttime versions for the season. Bloodstead gets a rethemed variant, and Avalon shifts to a nighttime layout to fit the Halloween atmosphere.
A brand-new 6v6 map called Quantumn joins the multiplayer rotation. The seasonal content also feeds into limited-time multiplayer modes and adds spooky foes and content to Black Ops 7’s Endgame mode.

The Haunting closes out Black Ops 7’s live season before Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026, so the Doom crossover and the rest of Season 6 are a limited window. If you want the Doom Slayer, plan around the September 24 event pass while the season is live.
