How to start the event floor solo or in a group, get through Abe’s Estate gate, and find the first objective.

The Candy Vault is the event floor for The Hollow, the Halloween event in DOORS. It sits at the top of the floor list in the lobby. Before you’re asked to break into anything, you open a gate, knock on a door, and take a tour of a manor.

Quick answer: In the DOORS lobby, press HOST GAME, pick THE CANDY VAULT, set players (1 is solo), and press PLAY. Press E on the right gate pillar’s button. Pass the fountain on its right, then knock on the front door with E.

How to host The Candy Vault from the DOORS lobby

Launch DOORS on Roblox and wait in the lobby. Press HOST GAME at the bottom centre of the screen.
Choose THE CANDY VAULT, the top card in the floor list, marked “^ THE HOLLOW EVENT ^”. Beneath it are THE HOTEL, the “REVEAL NOW (SPOILERS!)” card, and THE ARCHIVES.

Use the arrows on either side of the player count to set your group size. Set it to 1 to play solo; we played it solo. If you only want people you know to join, turn on the FRIENDS ONLY toggle.
Hit PLAY to start. After the loading screen displays “You’re invited to The Estate…”, the run starts in first person.

How to reach Abe’s front door at The Estate

Your starting spot is just before a shut iron gate. Press the button on the right gate pillar to get inside.

Walk up to the right gate pillar and look at the button on it. When a hand icon with E appears on the button, press E. The gate swings open, the title “THE ESTATE” appears on screen, and a “LShift Sprint” hint shows on the path.

Follow the path toward the manor until you reach the fountain in the middle of it. Go around the fountain on its right side. If you walk straight at it, you end up in the basin.

Abe’s tour of the manor

The door is opened by Abe, who welcomes you with “Welcome to my lovely Estate!” A top hat, suit, and cane complete his look; his head is a dark mask featuring one glowing eye. He guides you into the foyer, where a butler NPC remains as the tour unfolds.

Here is what Abe says during the tour:

  • “And please, call me Abe.”
  • “Abraham was my father!”
  • “Tonight will be chock-full of the most wonderful activities among us.”
  • “How about a showing?”
  • “Err- here you can see the foyer!”
  • “Just the most gorgeous marble there, isn’t it?”
  • “Quite the loveliest living quarters for you all!”
  • “Oh! …I’ve had the Butler leave some appetizers around for you to look for!”
  • “Supper should be ready in er… half past?”
  • “Just make sure not to spoil your appetite!”
  • “Well. Feel free to explore all of-“
  • “Most. Of… my estate! Goodness.”

Abe ends the tour with a warning: “And please, my chum. Stay away from my vault.”

The Candy Vault objectives and the manor rooms

When the tour ends, an OBJECTIVES panel appears on the left side of the screen. The panel lists two objectives, “Break into The Candy Vault” and “Explore Abe’s Manor ( OPTIONAL )”.

These are the rooms we walked through after the tour:

  • Foyer: marble floor, a chandelier, and twin staircases with a door between them.
  • Dining room: off the foyer, with a long table where DOORS plush characters sit and portraits of Abe hang on the walls.
  • Kitchen: at the far end of the dining room, where a cook in a chef’s hat works.

You can collect Abe’s appetizers: a plate of food rests on the kitchen stove. Face it and press E once the hand icon appears; the plate is placed in hotbar slot 1. The prompts “X DROP ITEM” and “INSPECT ITEM” then appear, with the latter performed using the mouse. In the dining room, press E to open the desk drawers as well. One drawer contains a red-sealed letter, an eraser, and a pencil.

Halloween store prices in candy corn

Candy corn is the event currency in DOORS, and your balance appears in the screen’s upper-right corner in both the lobby and a run. In the lobby HUD, select STORE at the lower left and find the HALLOWEEN row. The store’s timer is displayed along its top edge.

Not seen yet

We have only played the start of the floor so far. These parts are not covered yet:

  • How candy corn is earned. Picking up the kitchen appetizer did not add any; our counter stayed at 0.
  • What the appetizers do, and what Abe’s supper is.
  • Where The Candy Vault is and how to break into it.
  • Any monsters, how a run ends, and its rewards, badges or costumes.
  • The rest of the HALLOWEEN store row.
  • What the cook says; his speech bubble is in symbols, not readable text.
