How to grow Hazelnuts at your base
One Hazelnut is enough to start a patch at home. At the Seedbed, combine 1 Hazelnut and 1 Farm Soil to make 5 Hazelnut Bush Seedlings. The seedling’s description reads: “A seedling that will grow into a plant when sown in the right soil. Once fully grown, it can be harvested repeatedly.” Plant the seedlings, let them grow, and the bushes keep producing Hazelnuts.
What Hazelnuts do
A Hazelnut is a common food item that stacks to 20, and its in-game hint points to the Revelwood. Its description reads: “A nice snack for the way. The strength it takes to crack its shell, it gives back upon consumption.” Eating one grants the Grain Product food buff, a melee damage bonus that lasts 600 seconds.

The skewer is a two-stage recipe. First, hand craft a Raw Meat and Hazelnut Skewer from 1 Hazelnut and 1 Raw Game. Its description reads: “A hearty feast that fortifies your body. Grilled over a fire, this skewer will increase your melee damage, boost your maximum health, and accelerate your health regeneration.”
Then take it to the Cooking Station, where 1 raw skewer becomes 1 Meat and Hazelnut Skewer. The cooked version reads: “With just some meat, a hazelnut, and a small fire, you can make this nutritious skewer anywhere and at any time.” Eating it gives the Grain Product buff, a melee damage bonus that lasts 600 seconds.
