In Mine a Mountain, the Roblox climb-and-mine sim, your pickaxe only takes you so far. The real way to open up the mountain and expose stacks of high-value crystals is to buy Bombs and detonate them, each one clearing terrain in its own way and often spawning special crystal types.

Quick answer: There are eight Bombs sold at the Bomb Shop in the lobby, ranging from the Classic Bomb at $50,000 up to the Agony Bomb at $600,000,000. You buy them with money earned by selling mined crystals.

Bombs scale up steeply in price, and the jump in cost tracks with better effects and richer crystal drops. Here is the full lineup in order of price.

What each Bomb does

The two cheapest Bombs are about raw clearing. The Classic Bomb blasts a crater and scatters a spread of crystals, while the Wind Bomb explodes with a gust that flings crystals, debris, and players across the map.

From there, the elemental Bombs start dropping their own crystal types. The Ice Bomb freezes the blast zone into a glacier and guarantees Frost crystals, and the Fire Bomb turns the crater molten, forging fire-born crystals from the melt.

Higher up the ladder, value starts to multiply. The Thunder Bomb strikes with lightning and drops Thunder crystals worth double, while the Poison Bomb creates Poison crystals that grow in value and spreads that corruption to nearby drops.

The top two Bombs are the payoff tier. The Time Bomb carves a giant clockface into the terrain and drops the second-richest crystal pool in the game. The Agony Bomb tears the mountain open and rains nothing but Legendary and Mythic crystals, which is why it sits at the top of the price list.

How to buy and use Bombs

Mine crystals on the mountain and return to the lobby to sell your inventory. This is the only income source that funds Bomb purchases.
Head to the Bomb Shop in the lobby and pick the Bomb you can afford. Each entry shows its cost, rarity, and effect before you buy.
Take the Bomb to the mountain and detonate it to blast open terrain and expose the crystals it generates. Elemental and higher-tier Bombs also spawn their specific crystal types, so match the Bomb to the crystals you want.

Note: The best returns come from reinvesting. Cheaper Bombs help you build the bankroll needed to reach the Time Bomb and Agony Bomb, which drop the most valuable crystal pools.

Which Bomb is best

The Agony Bomb is the highest-tier option and the strongest for pure crystal value. At $600,000,000 it tears the mountain open and rains only Legendary and Mythic crystals, making it the endgame purchase once you have the cash to spare. Until then, working up through the elemental and Rare/Epic Bombs is the fastest way to grow your income toward it.
