Mine a Mountain is an incremental mining game on Roblox where you swing a pickaxe into a mountain, dig out rare gemstones, and haul them back to base to sell for money. Better pickaxes let you break blocks faster and clear a wider area, so upgrading is the main way to reach deeper, more valuable crystals. You can jump into the experience through its official Roblox page.

Quick answer: There are 13 pickaxes in total, running from the Rusty Scrapper (Common, 25 Power) up to the Celestial Apex (Divine, 102,400 Power). Buy each one from the Shopkeeper NPC in the lobby after selling crystals for money.

Every pickaxe, rarity, Power, and Mine Size

Each pickaxe carries two stats that matter for mining. Power decides how hard it hits a block, while Mine Size decides how much area one swing covers. The values scale steeply as you climb the list, with both stats roughly doubling at every step.

The Celestial Apex sits at the top with 102,400 Power and 11,568 Mine Size, making it the strongest pick for reaching the most valuable crystals. Everything below it is a stepping stone, and buying the next tier in order is the cleanest way to grow your earnings.

How to buy a new pickaxe

Mine crystals inside the mountain until your bag is full or you want to cash out. Crystals are stored in your inventory as you break blocks.
Return to the lobby and talk to the Crystal Buyer NPC. Interacting with it sells your collected crystals and converts them into money.
Cross over to the Pickaxes shop, run by the Shopkeeper NPC and placed opposite the sell point. Open it and spend your money on the next pickaxe you can afford.

Once a purchase goes through, the new pickaxe is equipped and its higher Power and Mine Size take effect on your next swings. If a pickaxe does not appear as an option, you have not banked enough money yet, so sell another round of crystals first.

What Power and Mine Size change

Power is your damage per swing. Higher Power breaks tougher blocks in fewer hits, which lets you push into deeper parts of the mountain where richer gemstones sit.

Mine Size is the reach of each swing. A larger Mine Size clears more blocks at once, so you gather crystals faster and spend less time on each dig. Chasing both stats together is what speeds up the whole loop of mine, sell, and upgrade.

Work through the list in order, sell often, and keep buying the next tier as your money allows. Reaching the Celestial Apex gives you the deepest reach and the fastest clears, which is exactly what you want for the highest-value crystals on the mountain.
