The Hunt: Roblox 20 is the platform-wide event marking Roblox’s 20th anniversary, live from September 17 to September 28, 2026. It hands out 20 limited-release UGC avatar items, and each one is tied to a quest inside a participating experience. You collect them as you move through the event.

How the UGC items are earned
The event is built around progression rather than codes or a shop. You start in the Hub, which links out to 20 games spanning Roblox’s past and present, from classic titles like Lumber Tycoon 2 and Jailbreak to newer favorites like Adopt Me! and Grow a Garden.
Play begins in Year Zero, at Roblox’s founding, and moves forward in chronological order. To reach the next year you complete a quest that represents that era, and UGC rewards are collected along the way. Completing all 20 years unlocks Year Infinity, which opens access to 20 more games representing the best of 2026 and beyond.
Active Roblox Plus subscribers unlock early access to the event hub at 9 a.m. PT on September 17, plus the chance to earn three exclusive virtual items that sit separately from the 20 standard UGC rewards.

How to confirm you claimed each item
An item is yours once you finish the quest for its era and the event advances you to the next year. The reward then appears in your inventory as a wearable accessory, and the year you completed shows as cleared in the Hub’s progression track.
Because these are limited-release items and the event closes on September 28, 2026, work through all 20 years within that window to collect the complete set. Any item you have not claimed by the end of the run will not be earnable through the Hub afterward.
