Meta tier: Magmaxor and Celesthorn
Magmaxor is the strongest new Evomon and arguably the best in the game right now. It is a Fire type boss found at Lava Nexus, and its whole kit is built around sustaining aggression. Its ultimate, Flame Devour III, hits for 160 power, moves with +1 priority, and heals 70% of the damage dealt as lifesteal.
That lifesteal pairs directly with Bloodflame, a 120-power move that stacks six turns of burn but costs 20% of Magmaxor’s own HP. Flame Devour then wins that health back, so you get heavy burn pressure without paying for it long-term. Protect covers the gaps, and the Pursuit trait punishes opponents who try to swap away.

Celesthorn takes the second Meta slot and is a Psychic type earned through the Season Pass. Its selling point is speed. With a base Speed of 120, it is the second-fastest monster in the game, which lets it set up before slower teams can respond. The core combo stacks Psymark using Psychic Etch and then detonates it with the Implosion III ultimate for a heavy special payoff. The Drain trait keeps it alive while it applies that pressure.
S tier: Snaerolf and Ignifist
Snaerolf is a Frost type boss located at Glacial Eye, and it leans on raw physical power backed by control. Its base Attack of 120 is among the highest of the new group. The Swift Freeze III ultimate freezes an opponent to stop them from swapping out, which locks a bad matchup in place. For damage, Glacial doubles the power of the next ice move, and following it with Ice Lance can push output up to around 400 in a single turn.
Ignifist is a Fire type caught on Polar Rift, built to win drawn-out fights through burn stacking. Its Flamevein trait adds +40 power to fire skills while Volcanic Eruption is active, which sharply raises its damage ceiling in weather-based matches. What separates it from other Fire monsters is flexibility. Ignifist can learn Bubble Strike, giving it a way to answer opposing Fire types that would normally wall it. That coverage is what keeps it out of the lower tiers.
B tier: Frostclaw
Frostclaw rounds out the group and is the weakest of the five for PvP. It is an Ice/Bug type, also caught on Polar Rift, and its typing does give it an easy edge over Grass monsters. The problem is redundancy. Its stat line and move pool sit very close to Glicidell, so it rarely offers a reason to run it over a monster you likely already own. It works as a Grass counter, but it does not bring the standout tool that the higher-tier newcomers do.
