Fake an Egg is a Roblox pet game from Slime Time Studios with a twist. Every egg sitting in the middle of the map might be another player in disguise. Servers hold up to nine people. Your money comes from three places: pets that pay out every second in your pen, players or bots who buy you while you pose as an egg, and pets you take from other people’s pens. Each of those feeds into Rebirth, which gives you permanent multipliers.

Quick answer: Buy the $30 Bunny Egg, hatch it in your pen, then use your pipe to disguise as an egg or raid a rival pen. Rebirth once you’ve hatched one Bunny Egg and earned $750.

Fake an Egg first pet: buy, carry, hatch, place

You spawn with exactly enough cash for one Common egg. Overhead arrows point to each target as you go, so the first loop is hard to get wrong.

Walk to the egg stalls with your starting $30 and buy the Bunny Egg. Its label reads “Bunny Egg Common $30 60s,” and the game nudges you with “Quick, buy that egg!”

Carry the egg across the field to your own pen, which carries your username (for example, “Rondoblox’s Pen”). The prompt “Bring it home!” stays on screen until you arrive.

Drop the egg onto an open nest circle inside your pen when the game says “Hatch it!” The glowing green and orange circles are the hatch pads.
Once the egg hatches, follow the “Click to place Bunny!” prompt to put the Common Bunny in your pen. It’s working once it starts adding cash every second.

To check your setup, open the Slots menu. It lists every active pet in your pen.

Disguise as an egg in Fake an Egg

Disguising is how you earn while you wait. Your pen has a green pipe. When the game says “Go to your pipe!”, jump in and the “Select Disguise” menu opens. You can turn into any egg type you’ve unlocked. Each disguise shows its payout, and the Bunny Egg disguise reads “Earn $30 when bought.”

Choose a disguise and hit USE, and your avatar turns into that egg. Then walk into the center field and stand among the real eggs. The on-screen instruction is “Blend in and wait to be bought!” You get paid when another player or an AI bot buys you.

Steal pets from other players’ pens

Other players’ pets work the same way yours do, and you can take them straight off their pads. Go into a rival pen, wait for the “Steal their pet!” prompt, and grab a pet. The game then tells you “Escape to your base!” From that point you have to carry the pet all the way back across the arena to your own pen without getting stopped. The owner will chase you.

Once you reach your pen, the stolen pet is banked and starts earning for you. Variant pets pay more than standard ones. A Rainbow Dog, for example, is still a Common but is labeled $30/s. Remember that other players can raid your pen the same way.

Fake an Egg egg prices and rarities

Each egg’s label shows its name, rarity, price, and a timer in seconds. Prices go up steeply with rarity:

Bunny EggCommon$3060s
Cat Egg—$47—
Wolf EggRare$15.0K45s
Badger Egg (ACID RAIN)Rare$81.0K40s
Spinosaurus EggLegendary$8.7M40s

The Cat Egg makes a good second purchase. It’s cheap enough to buy with early earnings, and you carry it home the same way as the Bunny Egg. Countdown banners over the field (“SECRET IN,” “EXOTIC IN,” “DIVINE IN”) track timers for higher tiers. The map also has areas labeled SCANNERS, SPINNERS, and COLLECT ZONE.

Every species you discover goes into the Index. It tracks your collection by tier, out of 83 species in total, and pays out cash when you claim milestone completions. With only a Bunny and a Dog, it reads “2% complete 2/83 discovered.”

Fake an Egg Rebirth 1 requirements and rewards

Rebirth turns your cash into permanent bonuses. The game says “Rebirthing ONLY resets cash,” so you keep your pets. The first Rebirth needs two things:

  • Hatch one Bunny Egg (shown as 1/1)
  • Earn $750 in cash

Once you meet both, “You can rebirth!” pops up. Open the Rebirth screen and confirm. Completing it gives you the following:

Rebirth 1 rewardValue
Cash Multix1.5
Hatch Speedx1.05
Pet FeedUncommon
FeederUnlocked

You’ll know it worked when the “Feeder unlocked!” message appears and your cash drops back down. The new Feeder starts at “x1 PET CASH,” and you add food to it to raise your pets’ income. Use your PET FOOD there, then go back to buying, disguising, and stealing to build toward the next Rebirth.
