The Canyon map in Far Far West hides three Music Disc Fragments. Picking up all three completes the Psychedelic West record, which then becomes playable on the lobby gramophone. Progress is saved between missions, so you can collect them in any order across multiple runs.
Quick answer: Start a Wanted contract on Canyon, then visit the cactus on the open canyon floor, the underpass in the southwest, and the platform inside the southeast mine. Each pickup advances the counter to 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3.

Requirements before fragments spawn
Fragments only appear during an active Canyon mission. Open the world map from the lobby and select a Wanted contract set in the Canyon region before you go fragment hunting. Pickups made on any other map advance a different track, not Psychedelic West.
The fragments themselves are small, bright orange glowing objects sitting on or near props such as crates, boxes, and platforms. They are not flagged with a unique map icon, so the route below is the fastest way to reach each one.
All three Canyon fragment locations
| Fragment | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| 1 / 3 | In the open beside a cactus, sitting on the ground next to a small set of boxes. Walk up to the marked spot and the orange glow is visible without any climbing. |
| 2 / 3 | Southwest part of the map, beneath an underpass. The fragment is tucked next to a stack of boxes that partially hides it, so approach the boxes directly and look low. |
| 3 / 3 | Inside the mine in the southeast of the map. Enter through the mine entrance, take a mine cart, and ride about halfway in until other carts block the track. Look to the left for a small platform with two boxes; the fragment sits behind those boxes. |
The order does not matter. If you only have time for one or two on a given run, the count carries over to the next mission as long as you confirmed the pickup prompt.

Pickup confirmation
When you interact with a fragment, the on-screen prompt reads PICK UP THE DISC FRAGMENT with a note that three fragments unlock the track in the lobby and that they can be collected over multiple runs. After pickup, the message updates to fragment collected! 1/3, then 2/3, and finally 3/3.
You know the disc is fully unlocked when the lobby record wall stops showing a "find more fragments" prompt for Psychedelic West and lets you take the disc.

Side detour worth doing on the same run
Canyon also has a separate medallion objective. Finding all four medallions before fighting the boss opens a hidden cave containing seven gold veins. It does not affect the disc unlock, but the route between fragments overlaps several medallion landmarks, so combining both during a single Wanted contract is efficient.
Playing Psychedelic West in the lobby
Step 1: Return to the lobby after collecting your third Canyon fragment. The wooden room with records mounted on the wall is where every unlocked disc is stored.
Step 2: Walk up to the wall display for Psychedelic West and take the disc. The "find X more fragments" line should no longer appear.
Step 3: Interact with the gramophone and press the play prompt. The on-screen text switches to a "now playing" line, and the track plays for everyone in the lobby. Use the remove-disc prompt to swap to a different unlocked record.

Reasons the count does not advance
- The pickup happened on the wrong map. Only Canyon fragments advance Psychedelic West.
- You quit the mission before the pickup prompt confirmed. The 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3 message must appear on screen.
- The disc is already complete. Once Psychedelic West is in your collection, Canyon fragments stop spawning on later runs.
Once Psychedelic West is unlocked, the Canyon map's fragment prompts go quiet and the disc stays permanently in the lobby record wall. Each of the other maps follows the same three-fragments-per-map pattern and contributes its own track, so the same routing approach works across the rest of the soundtrack.
