FC 26 Face Value Evolution: Best Players to Use

Entry limits, both upgrade levels, and the strongest cards to slot into this 97-rated Season 10 Evolution.

The Face Value Evolution in FC 26 pushes an eligible card up to a 97 overall while stacking pace, passing, dribbling, defending, and a set of new PlayStyles across two levels. It unlocks through the Season 10 Double Trouble objective, and the card you pick matters because most of the stat gains cap out quickly on already-strong players.

Quick answer: Finish the Double Trouble objective by recording an assist with a FUTTIES player in 20 separate matches, then slot an outfield card at 97 overall or lower with 10 or fewer PlayStyles and 4 or fewer PlayStyle+. High-rated attackers and midfielders such as Isak PTG, Bouaddi Phenoms, Xhaka PTG, or Zidane GOTG Icon get the most out of it.

Face Value Evolution entry requirements

Only cards that fit inside these limits can enter the Evolution. Goalkeepers are excluded, and anything already above the caps is blocked.

How to unlock the Evolution

Access comes from the Season 10 Double Trouble objective. You need to complete an assist with a FUTTIES player in 20 separate matches. Once that objective is finished, the Face Value Evolution becomes available to slot a card into.

Tip: Keep a FUTTIES card in your active squad and play modes where assists come easily, since each qualifying match must contain at least one assist from that player.

Upgrade levels and stat boosts

The Evolution runs across two levels. Each level requires you to play one match in any mode using your active Evolution player before the upgrade applies. The numbers below list each boost with its final capped value.

Level 1

AttributeBoost and cap
Overall+7 (max 97)
Pace+7 (max 95)
Shooting+7 (max 95)
Passing+10 (max 97)
Weak Foot+4
PlayStyle+Pinged Pass (5)
PlayStyleLow Driven Shot (7)

Level 2

AttributeBoost and cap
Dribbling+7 (max 95)
Defending+7 (max 95)
Physical+7 (max 95)
Skills+4
PlayStyle+Tiki Taka (5)
PlayStyleGamechanger (7)

Because the caps sit at 95 for pace, shooting, dribbling, defending, and physical, a card that already sits close to those ceilings loses part of the raw boost. The real payoff is the finished 97 overall, the weak foot and skill move gains, and the added PlayStyles.

Best players for Face Value Evolution

The strongest choices are outfield cards that already have high base stats and useful positions, so the final upgrade turns them into rounded 97-rated options. These are the top candidates to slot in.

You can also feed an existing Evolution card from your Ultimate Team club into this path. Stacking on top of earlier upgrades usually returns a more complete final card than starting from a plain item.

How to confirm each upgrade applied

Add your selected card to the Face Value Evolution slot after the Double Trouble objective is complete.
Put the card in your active squad and play one match in any mode. The Level 1 boosts apply once that match finishes.
Play one more match with the same card to trigger the Level 2 upgrade. The card should now show a 97 overall along with the added PlayStyles, weak foot, and skill move increases on its item.

If an upgrade does not register, the most common cause is that the match was played without the Evolution player in your active squad. Keep the card on the pitch for the full match so the level condition counts.
