Find the Fat Animals is a Roblox collecting game with a simple premise. Every animal on the map is an oversized, pun-named version of a real one, and you touch each one to add it to your index. A counter at the top of the screen tracks your progress out of 77. Getting to 77 is harder than it sounds. Some animals walk in plain sight, but many sit behind clickable props, fake floors, obbies, coin hunts, and a few conditions you can’t meet alone.
Quick answer: Most of the 77 animals unlock just by touching them. Each new one shows a “YOU FOUND!” label and moves the top counter up by one. A few need a group join, a second player, or a lucky block.
Fat Animals rarity tiers and the 77 counter
Every animal has a floating label with its name and a rarity. There are seven tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, and Secret. Rarity says little about difficulty. Fatstrich, a Common, sits near spawn. Faticorn, a Secret, waits on top of the two-player structure’s roof. The Divine Massive Mammoth is hidden inside a sliced watermelon obby close to the start.
The names are jokes on the real species. Highlights include Eatgle, Chungus Crocodile, Llamfat, Seal With A Meal, Crfatb, Megafatlodon, and Swordfatish. When you touch an animal you don’t own yet, the discovery screen appears and the XX/77 counter goes up. Touching one you already have does nothing new, so the counter is the only reliable way to check your progress.

The map has a barn and silos, a giant fishbowl, a beehive, a caged enclosure, a grassy field, and a red boundary wall around everything. Animals show up in a handful of ways, and once you know them the hunt gets much easier.
- Riding the red carpet conveyor, such as Fat Cat, Zebrfat, Chud Chicken, Panda, and Slower Snail
- Roaming the grass field, such as CheetahEatah, MagnificentMoose, and Rhinfato
- Waiting at the end of obbies, such as Big Bunny on the floating pizza slices and Fat Shark on the floating food items
- Tucked into high or awkward spots, such as Fatmel on the perimeter wall and Megafatlodon past the silo roofs
- Hidden in secret rooms opened by clicking props or dropping through fake geometry
The fishbowl is a dense pocket of marine animals. Bubbly Blue Tang and the Divine Well Fed Whale are both up there. It’s also where one of the coins for the vending machine turns up.

Height matters across the whole map. A second Zebrfat stands on the roof of the caged enclosure next to the red barn, apart from the copy on the conveyor. The tall purple pillar near the center is hard to climb because the avatar keeps snagging on block edges when you try to mantle up.

Hidden rooms and clickable props
A lot of the collection sits behind ordinary scenery. Clicking certain props teleports you into a themed room. The barn honey pot holds Beary Large, and the bee honeycomb structure next to it holds Sized Up Sailfish.

Portals set into the ground lead to more rooms. The strawberry portal opens a pink room with HugeHippo and Fatmingo, which is a Secret.

A separate honeypot portal leads to a room with Fat Goldfish. Don’t confuse it with the honey pot that hides Beary Large.

The animal index gives a short hint for each of these hidden animals. Here is how the hints match up with the animals behind them.
| Index hint | Animal | Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| “Click the honeypot to enter its hidden room.” | Fat Goldfish | Honeypot portal |
| “Hiding in a log.” | BiggieBeaver | Click the log on the ground |
| “Find his stick in the log room” | SludgeySloth | Platforms inside the log room |
| “Click the hay to enter its hidden room.” | Chunky Cow | Click the hay |
| “There’s a pile of hay you can fall through.” | Big Bull | Fake hay pile in the red barn |
| “In a room full of grass.” | DubiousDeer | Click the tall grass patch |
| “In the giant clam.” | Not PickyPenguin, DiabolicalDolphin, Fatter | Pink clam teleport to a beach room |
| “Hiding in a cave.” | Polar Roller Bear | Cave behind the trees |
The clam room gives the best return of any trigger, with three animals in one sandy room. The log room counts twice. BiggieBeaver is there when you first walk in. SludgeySloth sits on a branch at the top of the wooden planks and blocks inside the same room.
Fat Animals behind puzzles: Coins, buttons, and the keypad code
Three multi-part puzzles each show their own tracker at the bottom of the screen. That makes it easy to tell how far along you are.
Vending machine and Fat Seahorse
Three colored coins, one yellow, one red, and one blue, are spread around the fishbowl and nearby areas. The tracker counts them as “Find the 3 coins: 1/3 found!” and so on. With all three, the game tells you “All coins have been found. Go to the vending machine!” The machine stands against the red boundary wall. Its “Use Coins (3/3)” prompt spawns Fat Seahorse.
Keypad safe and Swordfatish
The index hint for Swordfatish just says “Find the code.” The code is written on a tree trunk behind the structures. It’s 1173. A white safe with a keypad sits on the roof of the caged enclosure. Type the code and press the green check, and the keypad shows “Correct” and opens to reveal Swordfatish.
The four red buttons
Four hidden red buttons are spread over the map. One is near the trees, one is inside the cage enclosure, one is in the barn, and one is on the boundary wall. The tracker counts up to “Find the 4 buttons: 4/4 found!” and then shows “All buttons have been found. Go to the obby!” The buttons are a gate, not an animal. They open an obby, which matches the index hint “End of an obby.”
Fat Animals you can’t get by exploring alone
Walking every corner of the map isn’t enough for the last few animals. These have outside conditions.
| Animal | Rarity | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Calorie Capybara | Mythic | Join the game’s Roblox group |
| Puffy Pufferfish | Divine | Two players on pressure plates at the 2 Players door |
| FatDuck | Legendary | Basic Lucky Block |
| ShapedSheep | Secret | Basic Lucky Block |
| Turtleat | Common | Type its name in Roblox chat |
The group unlock uses a prompt near the cage. The index hint “Get a friend and open the door!” points to Puffy Pufferfish, so a solo player can’t finish the full 77. The lucky block drops more than one animal, which means you may have to open it more than once to get both FatDuck and ShapedSheep.
Two triggers acted up in play. Typing the turtle’s name in chat, which the index prompts with “Say the name of the animal in chat!”, returned an error. The sushi roll door in the fishbowl, tied to the hint “Click the sushi roll to enter its hidden room.”, wouldn’t open.
Find the Fat Animals shop items
The in-game shop sells movement tools. These are especially handy for the tall pillars and silo roofs that trip up regular jumping.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Speed Coil | 24 |
| Slap Hand | 50 |
| Grapple Hook | 75 |
| Gravity Coil | 80 |
| Magic Carpet | 280 |
One careful solo run of the whole map reached 71 of 77 animals. The missing six were the ones gated by the group, the co-op door, the lucky block, and the two buggy triggers. When the counter reads 77/77, every name in the index has been found, from Fatstrich at spawn to the Secret animals behind the clam, the hay, and the log.
