Seven high-tier spell scrolls can be collected in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, each one teaching a single character a powerful black magic spell. Four are available during Part 1 through dungeon chests or merchant exchanges, and three more unlock in Part 3 once you reach the Lír Sea and begin rebuilding the temples.
Quick answer: Collect Mire B, Death Γ, Swarm, and Banshee Θ in Part 1 from desert and coastal dungeons, then grab Dark Spikes T, Fimbulvetr Night, and Agnea’s Arrow in Part 3 by looting the Uncharted Isle and completing the Smyrnos temple chain.
All seven spell archives and where to get them
Each scroll is a one-use item. Using it permanently teaches the spell to whichever eligible character you pick, so decide on a caster before you spend it. Two of the Part 1 archives can be bought as well as looted, which is useful if you clear a route without reaching the dungeon.
| Archive (Spell) | Part | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Archive B (Mire B) | Part 1 | Cave Behind the Falls, or Vandal Trading Company |
| Archive Γ (Death Γ) | Part 1 | Aditi’s Cave, or Vandal Trading Company |
| Swarm | Part 1 | Southern Passage |
| Archive Θ (Banshee Θ) | Part 1 | Iapetus Cavern |
| Archive T (Dark Spikes T) | Part 3 | Uncharted Isle |
| Fimbulvetr Night | Part 3 | Jurah’s Temple NPC |
| Agnea Tome (Agnea’s Arrow) | Part 3 | Smyrnos’s Trial reward |

Add to Google Preferences →Part 1: four archives from dungeons and the Dagsion exchange
You can gather all four Part 1 scrolls while progressing through any Flame Lord’s route. The two bought from the Vandal Trading Company require crafting materials harvested from search spots across Dagda, so stock up before you travel to Dagsion Port.
Archive B (Mire B)
Mire B is a common long-ranged dark spell with a 1-3 range, low Might of 3, and 70 Hit. The scroll sits in a treasure chest inside Cave Behind the Falls, a futuristic dungeon in northeastern Dagsion near the Port of Pandora (Ideal Lv 22). Open the chest on the left side of the dungeon to loot it.

If you’d rather purchase it, visit Dagsion Port and trade with the Vandal Trading Company for 3 Torment Grass. You can gather Torment Grass near Kuenlun and around Corpse’s Gutter.

Archive Γ (Death Γ)
Death Γ hits with Might 13 and a high 20 Crit at 1-2 range, making it the strongest offensive scroll of the Part 1 set. Find the chest in Aditi’s Cave in Nysiades (Ideal Lv 26), reached by crossing the quicksand at Baina Oasis. At the Vandal Trading Company it costs 10 Pongo and 1 Glirmosa.

Swarm
The Swarm archive is tucked inside the Southern Passage dungeon in Nysiades (Ideal Lv 25), located just south of Twalina. There is no exchange option for this one, so you need to clear the dungeon to pick it up.

Archive Θ (Banshee Θ)
Banshee Θ hits an enemy and inflicts Immobilize, making it useful for control. Its scroll is in Iapetus Cavern in Solidos (Ideal Lv 32), east of Da Mina. In the entrance room, open the chest just to your left.

Material farming for the exchanges
Only the Vandal Trading Company purchases need materials. Use the world map search spots below to gather them before heading to Dagsion Port.
- Torment Grass — Corpse’s Gutter and Kuenlun
- Glirmosa — Look for it along Mount Orgus Trail or in the Forest of No Return
- Pongo — Dada Plains and Klytius Plains
Part 3: Dark Spikes T on the Uncharted Isle
Dark Spikes T is anti-cavalry magic that is effective against mounted units, with Might 20 and a generous 6 durability. Sail north through the Lír Sea to the Uncharted Isle (Ideal Lv 63), which lies north of Dagsion, and open the chest there to claim it.

Part 3: the Smyrnos temple chain for Fimbulvetr and Agnea’s Arrow
The last two scrolls are linked through a single questline. You receive Fimbulvetr Night partway through it, then use that spell to unlock the Agnea Tome at the end. Follow the steps in order.
Keep the Fimbulvetr Night scroll in your inventory until after you douse the flames. You must use the spell on the barrier to progress, so do not teach it to a character you will not deploy at Iapetus Cavern.
High-tier spell stats compared
The three top-tier spells differ sharply in weight and accuracy. Fimbulvetr Night hits hardest but is heavy enough to slow most casters, while Agnea’s Arrow trades raw power for the lightest weight and highest Hit of the group.
| Spell | Mt / Wt | Hit / Crit | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fimbulvetr Night | 30 / 28 | 80 / 10 | 1-2 |
| Agnea’s Arrow | 25 / 15 | 90 / 5 | 1-2 |
| Dark Spikes T | 20 / 20 | 60 / 0 | 1-2 |
| Death Γ | 13 / 13 | 75 / 20 | 1-2 |
| Mire B | 3 / 15 | 70 / 0 | 1-3 |
Agnea’s Arrow carries 3 durability and Fimbulvetr Night also has 3, so both wear out faster than Dark Spikes T’s 6. Reserve the two highest spells for units that can one-shot priority targets rather than everyday clearing.
How to confirm you have everything
Each chest or exchange adds the archive to your inventory with a loot notification, and the Trial completion screen shows Smyrnos’s Trial marked COMPLETE alongside the Agnea Tome reward. Once all four Part 1 scrolls, Dark Spikes T, Fimbulvetr Night, and the Agnea Tome are collected, you have the full set of seven. Using a scroll teaches its spell to the selected caster and consumes the item, so check your spell list on that unit to verify the lesson took.
