Fisch Lullaby Rod: Every Mode Buff, Stats, and How It Works

A breakdown of the Lullaby's metronome modes, the status effects they share, and the quests that unlock the rod.

A breakdown of the Lullaby’s metronome modes, the status effects they share, and the quests that unlock the rod.

The Lullaby is a Stage 11 support rod in Fisch built entirely around timing. Instead of passive number boosts, it runs a metronome above the reeling minigame, and every clean tap on that metronome feeds a status effect to you and any nearby player. That is the part people call game-breaking, because one Lullaby user can stack luck, resilience, or progress speed for a whole group at once.

Quick answer: Press Q to pick a mode, then click only when the swinging pendulum sits on top of a lit section. Each hit grants 2.5 seconds of that mode’s status effect to you and to every Fischer within a 64-stud radius.

Lullaby base stats

On its own, the Lullaby carries strong luck and lure speed, full weight capacity, and the ability to fish lava, brine, and noxious fluid pools. The control value of 0.25 widens the catch bar to roughly 55% of the reeling minigame.

Lure Speed90%

Control0.25
Resilience25%

Its passive odds apply on every catch: a 24% chance for Prismatic (6.5×), 18% for Rainbow (6×), 12% for Mythical (5.5×), and a flat +2% chance for Shiny or Sparkling. During Night, the Prismatic chance climbs by an extra +6%. A Moonlight Ray also fires every two to four measures, flinging the fish back to the center of the bar, stunning it for 0.5 seconds, and adding +5% progress.

How the metronome buff works

A pendulum swings across the metronome at a relative speed set by the active mode. Clicking while the pendulum sits over a section counts as a hit and refreshes the matching status effect. The only way to miss is to click when the pendulum is over no section at all, so you can simply hold off until your timing is right and never rack up a penalty.

  • Each hit adds 2.5 seconds of the current mode’s status effect plus a small progress and control gain.
  • A real miss (clicking off all sections) costs −5% progress and −1 second of effect duration.
  • A Perfect Catch extends the active mode’s effect by +5 seconds.
  • Clicking the same section repeatedly does not stack extra duration, and taps within 1.2 seconds of hooking a fish are ignored.

Two rules shape how strong the buff feels. You must be at least Level 15 for the status effects to land on you, and the effects are 1.5× stronger on rods shaped like instruments.

Lullaby modes and their buffs

The rod ships with five modes and adds a sixth, Serene Hymn, once you finish its mastery. Cycle them with Q. Each shares its buff with the whole 64-stud area, which is why a coordinated team will swap modes based on what the current fish demands.

ModeStatus effect grantedPendulum speed
Resistant Composition+20% Resilience, +0.05 Control0.5
Quickening Symphony+20% Lure Speed, +20% Progress Speed1
Strengthening Melody+75,000 Max Kg, +75 Line Distance, +50% XP, +4 Disturbance0.5
Fortuitous Harmony+40% Luck, +10% Fish Size1
Prismatic Sinfonia+12% Prismatic, +3% Mythical, +3% Shiny, +3% Sparkling, +20% Luck, +10% Lure Speed, +10% Resilience, +0.025 Control, +25 Line Distance and more1
Serene Hymn+45% Resilience, +10% Serene chance1

The practical upshot is flexibility. If a teammate is fighting a stubborn fish, a nearby Lullaby on Resistant Composition hands them resilience and control. If the goal is rare mutations, Fortuitous Harmony or Prismatic Sinfonia pushes everyone’s luck and Prismatic odds at once.

How to unlock the Lullaby rod

The rod comes from Simon, an NPC on Hawaii, a hidden island reached through Mariana’s Veil on the way to Abyssal Zenith. The questline can be started at Level 500, but one stage demands the Rod Of The Forgotten Fang, which only becomes available after Level 700. Because of that, the rod is realistically obtainable at Level 700.

Take a submarine through Mariana’s Veil toward the Abyssal Zenith route and enter the Anglerfish maze.
Pass the first anglerfish, then follow the second into the fissure where it despawns. You will be teleported to Hawaii, where Simon sits on a chair near the island.
Accept and work through Simon’s questline, which runs from “Introduction to Snow” through stages like “Time Machine,” “Stranded Amongst a Sea of Stars,” and “Le Grande Finale.” Tasks include catching a Forgotten Celestial Koi, a Serene Ancient Depth Serpent, and a Translucent Baby Bloop Fish, then returning items to ghosts at Boreal Pines during a foggy night.

Lullaby mastery quests

The King Crabstle update on June 27, 2026 added a four-quest mastery line that hands out an equipment piece, a bobber, the Serenity skin, the Serene Hymn mode, and two permanent enhancements. You need the rod in hand before any of these become available.

QuestGoalReward
Forever In HarmonyHold Resistant, Quickening, Strengthening, Fortuitous, and Prismatic effects active for 180 seconds while catching with the Lullaby.Simon’s Gift and Moon
The ClimbDuring Starfall, Perfect Catch 20 Prismatic fish at Above The Clouds or Abyssal Zenith (or 20 Rainbow fish at Sunken Depths) without missing a metronome note.Doubled buff durations
The CollectionCatch a Prismatic Harmonic Dove, Prismatic Ancient Depth Serpent, Prismatic Mythic Fish, Rainbow Voidglow Ghostfish, Rainbow Ancient Kraken, and Rainbow Anglerfish.Increased metronome progress speed
True AscensionReach Above the Clouds, equip each fish from The Collection, and tap the screen.Serene Hymn mode

You will know the mastery is done when the Serenity skin and Serene Hymn mode appear on the rod and the two enhancements apply automatically, giving you longer buff windows and faster progress on every metronome hit.

Because the metronome already demands attention, enchantments that reduce your manual workload tend to pay off the most. Herculean lets you concentrate on timing the pendulum instead of juggling the catch bar, and pairing it with Cryogenic adds a chance to stop fish movement outright. For weight-focused Keeperbound runs, Magnitude Might raises fish weight, control, and resilience.

Note: the rod’s limited, support-first design means there is no strong miscellaneous enchantment niche for it. Build it for grinding or for weight goals and let the modes do the rest. Used well, a single Lullaby keeps an entire fishing party drowning in luck, resilience, and Prismatic odds, which is exactly why its buff has the reputation it does.
