Fortnitemares 2026 is in its final stretch in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, and five more horror crossovers are expected in the Item Shop before the event ends. Their dates come from an email Epic Games sent to creators in its Early Cosmetic Program. That leaves a tight run of nearly daily drops starting October 21st, then a short gap, then one more release the following week.
Quick answer: Obsession arrives October 21st, Slender Man October 22nd, Beetlejuice October 23rd, Hamikuma October 24th, and Predator: Badlands October 28th. Each one goes live at 8PM ET.
Release time: October 21st, 2026 at 8PM ET
Fortnitemares collab release schedule for October 21st to 28th
All five collabs appear with the regular Item Shop reset, so each one shows up in the shop the evening of its listed date in North America.
| Collab | Expected cosmetics | Release date | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Obsession | Nikki outfit, emote | October 21st | 8PM ET |
| Slender Man | Outfit, back bling, accessories | October 22nd | 8PM ET |
| Beetlejuice | Outfit, Beetlejuice Kicks | October 23rd | 8PM ET |
| Halloween Horror Nights | Hamikuma outfit | October 24th | 8PM ET |
| Predator: Badlands | Outfit, back bling, pickaxe, emote | October 28th | 8PM ET |
US daylight saving time does not end until November 1st, so every drop on this list follows Eastern Daylight Time. That makes 8PM ET equal to 5PM PT and midnight UTC, which means players in the UK, Europe, and Asia will see each collab appear on the calendar day after the listed date.
Epic has not publicly announced prices for any of these five collabs, and the dates come from a creator email rather than a public Epic announcement. Shop schedules can still shift until the items actually appear.
What each remaining Fortnitemares collab includes
Obsession (October 21st)
Obsession centers on Nikki. Her outfit comes with edit styles, including her signature red dress, and an emote built around the film’s “One Wish” idea. The One Wish Willow Sprite, a Sprite that helps you track down other Sprites, is the Obsession tie-in that arrived alongside the October 15th Fortnitemares update. The Nikki outfit is the shop half of the collab.
Slender Man (October 22nd)
Slender Man is expected as an outfit bundle with a back bling and extra accessories. He looks like the classic version of the character: very tall, faceless, and in a black suit. Credits in the Fortnitemares 2026 trailer confirmed that this is the original Slender Man and not a lookalike. He is a cosmetic only. He was not added to the island as a boss or an item.
Beetlejuice (October 23rd)
The Beetlejuice outfit arrives with Beetlejuice-themed Kicks, Fortnite’s shoe cosmetic. It is still unclear whether the Kicks will be sold on their own or only as part of the outfit bundle.
Hamikuma from Halloween Horror Nights (October 24th)
Hamikuma is the bear character from Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. Fans had been calling the character “Scary Teddy” since it was left out of the Jack the Clown release on October 5th. Hamikuma is sold separately and is not bundled with Jack the Clown.
Predator: Badlands (October 28th)
Predator: Badlands brings in Dek, and it is the largest set in the final batch:
- An outfit offering three style choices: Base, Mask, or Helmet
- A back bling
- A Plasma Sword serving as a pickaxe, or harvesting tool
- A themed emote
Fortnitemares 2026 collabs that have already released
The event launched on October 1st with Fortnite update 42.30. Most of the crossovers revealed in the Fortnitemares trailer are already in the game.
| Collab | Cosmetics | Released |
|---|---|---|
| Five Nights at Freddy’s | Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy | October 1st |
| A Nightmare on Elm Street | Freddy Krueger | October 2nd |
| Black Clover | Asta, Noelle Silva, Yuno | October 3rd |
| Halloween Horror Nights | Jack the Clown | October 5th |
| Hollow Knight | Knight Sidekick | October 7th |
| 99 Nights in the Forest | Deer (Wendigo) outfit | October 10th |
| Hazbin Hotel | Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, Alastor | October 16th |
| The Purge | Lady Liberty | October 17th |
Freddy Krueger also appears on the island as one of the Fortnitemares bosses. Defeating him drops Freddy’s Nightmare, so his collab reaches beyond the Item Shop in a way the remaining five do not.
Datamined Fortnitemares crossovers with no release date
Several more crossovers were found in the game files when the October 15th update arrived, but none of them has a shop date:
- League of Legends
- Metal Sonic, as part of a second Sonic wave
- The Exorcist
Original Halloween outfits, including a Nurse skin and a Spice skin, were also found in the files. Since these are not tied to the dated schedule, they could appear in any shop rotation or slip past Fortnitemares entirely.
Fortnitemares 2026 runs until November 1st, 2026, so Predator: Badlands on October 28th is the last collab with a set date before the event wraps. Anything else that shows up in that final weekend would come from the datamined pile above, not the creator schedule.
