Fortnite Bat Cave Location: How to Reach Batman’s Wonkeeland Hideout

Two entrances lead down to Batman's underground base beneath Wonkeeland, along with chests and the Batman Beach Buggy.

Batman’s underground base has landed on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map as part of the DC Hot Bat Summer event, tucked out of sight beneath the Wonkeeland amusement park. It doesn’t show up as a named location on the map, so most players fly right over it. Getting in only takes a moment once you know which entrance to aim for.

Quick answer: Drop at Wonkeeland, find the tree with a red STOP sign near the BOOTS building, and ride the orange ascender straight down into the tunnels that lead to the Bat Cave.

Where the Bat Cave sits on the map

The Bat Cave is built directly underneath Wonkeeland, in the center of the map’s amusement park area. On the surface it sits on the beach between the park and the Golden Grove point of interest, so you’re looking for the underground section rather than any building above ground.

The base stays open for the whole match. You don’t need to finish a quest or trigger anything first, so you can head down the moment you land.

Both entrances to the Bat Cave

There are two ways in. The Wonkeeland entrance drops you straight down through the park, while the beach entrance to the south is quieter and gives you a chest to grab before you head inside.

Wonkeeland ascender entrance

Land in the middle of Wonkeeland, near the BOOTS building and the Corndawg’s Sauce Express entrance.
Look for the tree marked with a red STOP sign. Next to it you’ll see an orange ascender running down into a large hole.
Take the ascender down and follow the tunnels below. Open the chest as you descend, then keep moving through the linear passage until you reach Batman’s hideout.

Beach entrance

Land on the shoreline south of Wonkeeland, along the beach on the cliff face to the east.
Grab the loot chest sitting just outside the cave mouth so you can defend yourself if the drop is contested.
Head inside and follow the tunnel to the same hideout. This route is the safer pick when Wonkeeland is a hot drop.

You’ll know you’re in the right place when the tunnel opens into the main chamber with the Bat Computer and Bat-themed decorations on display.

What you’ll find inside

The Bat Cave is a loot-and-scenery stop rather than a puzzle location. There are no hidden loot rooms or secret challenges to solve inside. Instead you get standard chests, floor loot, and a collection of Batman easter eggs.

Inside the caveDetails
ChestsMultiple standard chest spawns throughout the base
Floor lootScattered across the underground layout
Batman Beach BuggyThe event’s take on the Batmobile, drivable out along the beach
Easter eggsThe Bat Computer, Bat-themed surfboards, and an arsenal

Note: the chests here are regular chests. Repeated runs through the cave have not turned up a boosted chance at the Batman Sprite, so don’t count on the location for a guaranteed Sprite drop.

Is it worth dropping here?

For a quieter start with solid gear, the Bat Cave works well. Wonkeeland pulls in plenty of players during the event, but many stay on the surface, which leaves the underground base free for a quick loot-up before you rotate out. Keep your shields and health topped off, since the layout has plenty of corners where other teams can wait and ambush you.

The Hot Bat Summer event runs through August, so the cave may pick up more Bat-themed additions before it wraps. For now, it’s the best place to start if you want to get behind the wheel of the Batman Beach Buggy.
