Batman’s Beach Buggy is a rare drivable vehicle tied to the Hot Bat Summer event in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3. It is a black-and-yellow ride that spawns with full fuel, and hopping into it once clears the “Take a ride in Batman’s Beach Buggy” quest that moves you toward the Batman Sprite.

Quick answer: Get into the driver’s seat of Batman’s Beach Buggy a single time. The quest completes the moment you enter, awards 10,000 XP, and does not require you to drive anywhere.

Batman’s Beach Buggy spawn locations in Fortnite

The buggy has no single fixed spot. It uses several possible spawn points and appears at only a few of them in any given match, much like Sprite Chests. That means it may sit at one location this round and be gone the next, so finding it comes down to checking the reliable spots and a bit of luck.

LocationWhere to look
The BatcaveIn the center of the entrance area, parked directly on the Batman logo.
Frosted FlatsNear the northeast corner of the POI, parked on the road.
West of Sinister StripIn a small parking lot beside one of the black-and-orange Dark Voyager buildings.

Note: The Batcave sits below the Wonkeeland POI, on the beach between the amusement park and Golden Grove. There are two ways in. One entrance runs along the shoreline south of Wonkeeland, with a loot chest waiting just outside. The other is inside Wonkeeland itself, in front of the BOOTS building near the Corndawg’s Sauce Express entrance, marked by a red stop sign with an ascender you ride down.

How to complete the joyride quest

Load into a Battle Royale match and head to one of the spawn spots above. The Batcave is the most consistent, since the buggy sits right on the logo in the entrance area.
Walk up to the vehicle. The on-screen prompt reads “Drive Vehicle: Batman Beach Buggy” with the fuel shown at 100%. Interact to climb into the driver’s seat.
The quest registers the instant you sit down. A “Quest completed!” banner appears alongside a +10,000 XP reward. You do not have to drive, boost, or reach any destination for it to count.

If the quest does not tick over, the most likely reason is that you did not actually enter the vehicle, only stood next to it. Confirm you took the driver’s seat rather than a passenger prompt or a nearby chest interaction.

What Batman’s Beach Buggy does

For most driving, the buggy handles like a standard car, and its exact controls appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen depending on your platform. The standout feature is flight. When you boost off a cliff, mountain, or other high ledge, wings deploy from the sides and let the vehicle glide through the air for a short stretch before coming back down.

That makes it one of the faster ways to cross the island, so it is worth grabbing even outside the quest. Once you have your ride and the joyride is checked off, you are a step closer to earning the Batman Sprite from the Hot Bat Summer lineup.
