Week 4 of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 hands out five weekly quests worth 20,000 XP each, for a total of 100,000 XP toward the Override Battle Pass. Three of them can be knocked out in a single drop if you pick the right landing spot, and the other two mostly come down to loot luck and a bit of driving.
Quick answer: Equip a Sprite in the lobby from the Override tab, land at Green Hill Zone, and shoot Dr. Eggman while aiming down sights. That single drop covers the aim-down-sights damage, the damage-from-above quest, and your Sprite eliminations. Pick up Sonic Power Sneakers for the 500-meter travel quest, then visit Heatwave Harbor, Cluster Coast, and Chopped Shop across as many matches as you need.
Week 4 quest list and XP rewards
| Quest | Target | XP |
|---|---|---|
| Visit Heatwave Harbor, Cluster Coast, and Chopped Shop | 3 | 20,000 |
| Travel distance with Sonic Power Sneakers | 500 | 20,000 |
| Eliminate players while equipped with a Sprite | 5 | 20,000 |
| Damage players from above | 300 | 20,000 |
| Damage opponents while aiming down sights | 500 | 20,000 |
Weekly quests in Chapter 7 Season 4 refresh every Thursday at 9AM ET / 6AM PT, and once they appear they stay in your Quests tab under “This Week” until the season ends on October 31st. There is no rush to finish them the day they drop.
Equip a Sprite before you queue up
The Sprite elimination quest is the one people fail without realizing it. Eliminations only count while a Sprite is actively equipped, and you cannot equip one mid-match — it has to be set from the lobby first.

Green Hill Zone covers three quests in one drop
Green Hill Zone is the most efficient landing spot this week for two reasons. Dr. Eggman spawns there as a guaranteed boss, which gives you a big, stationary health bar to farm damage on. The POI also has heavy vertical terrain, so getting above other players is trivial.

Note: boss damage counts for the aim-down-sights quest but not for damage from above, since Eggman is on your level. You need real players below you for that one.
Sonic Power Sneakers: Where to find them and how to travel 500 meters
Sonic Power Sneakers are an Epic-tier utility item. They show up as random floor loot and inside chests, and you can also take a pair off an opponent you eliminate — anyone running them will drop them.

Distance stacks across matches, so if you die halfway, the meters you already banked stay counted.
Visiting Heatwave Harbor, Cluster Coast, and Chopped Shop
This is the slowest quest of the five, but only because of travel time. All three POIs count across separate matches, so you never have to route all of them in one game.
| Location | How to knock it out |
|---|---|
| Chopped Shop | Grab a vehicle after your Green Hill Zone fight and drive over |
| Heatwave Harbor | Chain it onto the same run if the storm cooperates |
| Cluster Coast | Land there directly at the start of a fresh match |
The most reliable pattern is two matches. Do your combat quests at Green Hill Zone, then drive to Chopped Shop and Heatwave Harbor with whatever time is left. Start a second match and drop straight onto Cluster Coast to finish the set.
How to confirm a quest actually completed
Every quest fires an on-screen progress pop-up as it ticks, and finished ones show a completion banner plus the 20,000 XP award. If you want to double-check mid-match, open the Quests menu and look at the counters directly — they update live.
If something is not moving, it is almost always one of these:
- No Sprite equipped when you got the eliminations. Set one from the Override tab in the lobby before the match starts.
- Hip-firing instead of aiming down sights. Hold the aim button for the full burst.
- Shooting from level ground or below. You need to be meaningfully higher than the target for the damage-from-above counter.
Stacking these with your daily quests in the same session is the fastest way to bank the XP, and since the weekly set stays live until the season wraps at the end of October, falling a week behind costs you nothing but time.
