The Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded is a free Epic glider built around Kado Thorne, bringing back the red parasol with glowing blue veins from the Chapter 4 Season 4 Victory Umbrella. It comes in two styles that sit under one locker entry, and the sharper Bladed version is the one tied to Fortnite Reload’s competitive side. There is nothing to buy and no long quest chain to grind.
Quick answer: Earn a Victory Royale during a Fortnite Reload match. An Unranked victory awards the base Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded, while a Ranked victory awards the Bladed Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded. Claim your reward by December 12, 2026, 7 AM ET.
The two umbrella styles and where each comes from
Both styles share the same red canopy and neon blue pattern as the original Eclipse ‘Brella, described in-game as “A perilous parasol of doom.” The difference is the blades. The base rework adds short neon spikes around the rim, while the Bladed version extends those spikes down the full length of the canopy for a more aggressive look. Each is earned in a different playlist.
| Style | Mode | Look |
|---|---|---|
| Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded | Unranked Reload | Red parasol with neon blue lines and short blades |
| Bladed Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded | Ranked Reload | Same pattern with neon spikes running the full canopy |

The easiest way is to finish first in one Reload match. Your placement during play, eliminations, and loadout have no effect once you take first place, and any map in the current Reload rotation qualifies.
The Reload Ranked Cup route for the Bladed variant
The Bladed Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded also sits among the Kado Thorne competitive rewards handed out through the Reload Ranked Cups, alongside items such as the Unreal Revenant and Eclipse’s Fang pickaxes and Thorne’s Tech Wings back bling. These are tournaments with their own entry rules, a fixed scoring system, and a placement threshold that scales to your rank division.
Eligibility requirements to enter
Before a cup will let you queue, your account has to clear an eligibility check. Every item on the list must be met.
- In Fortnite Reload’s Season 11: Kado’s Curse, reach a rank of Bronze I or above
- Reach Epic Games account level 50
- Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Be at least 13 years old
- In system settings, switch on Secure Boot, IOMMU, and TPM (Trusted Platform Module)
- Use only one account to participate in the event
The full ruleset lives in Epic’s competitive rules library if you need to confirm anything before a session.

Cup schedule
The cups run in both Duo and Solo formats across mid-October, each inside a three-hour window from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check the Compete tab in-game for the version that matches your region and platform.
| Cup | Date | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Duos Reload Ranked Cup (Zero Build) | Sun, Oct 11 | 7:00–10:00 PM |
| Duos Reload Ranked Cup (Battle Royale) | Sun, Oct 11 | 7:00–10:00 PM |
| Solo Ranked Cup (Zero Build) | Mon, Oct 12 | 7:00–10:00 PM |
| Solo Reload Ranked Cup (Zero Build) | Tue, Oct 13 | 7:00–10:00 PM |
| Solo Reload Ranked Cup (Battle Royale) | Tue, Oct 13 | 7:00–10:00 PM |

Placement thresholds by rank
To earn the umbrella through a cup, you have to finish inside a set percentile of your current rank division by the end of the session. The higher your division, the wider the bracket.
| Rank | Required placement |
|---|---|
| Bronze | Top 5% |
| Silver | Top 5% |
| Gold | Top 10% |
| Platinum | Top 10% |
| Diamond | Top 15% |
| Elite | Top 20% |
| Unreal | Top 25% |

Scoring and match limits
Each session caps you at 12 matches inside the three-hour window. You score 1 point per elimination, plus placement points that favor Solo play since the field is larger.
| Format | Points for 1st | Points floor | Elimination bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duos | 10 | 1 (10th place) | +1 each |
| Solos | 20 | 1 (20th place) | +1 each |

How to confirm the unlock
Confirmation comes when the glider appears in your Locker as a cosmetic you own and can equip. At your next match’s conclusion, it deploys in the same manner as other umbrella gliders. If your qualifying win counted but the glider is missing, open the Locker again and check under Gliders for Eclipse ‘Brella Reloaded instead of searching for an item named Kado Thorne.
Claim deadline
You can earn it for free through December 12, 2026, at 7 AM ET. Once added to your Locker, the glider remains yours permanently. However, earlier Reload umbrellas with fixed claim periods could no longer be earned after those periods ended, and an Item Shop return is not guaranteed. Claiming it now is the safe route.
