The Pollo Sprite arrived with the 41.20 update in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, and it is modeled after Pollo, a familiar name from the competitive scene. It carries a Mythic rarity, which puts it among the toughest companions to pull out of a match. If you want it in your permanent collection, you need to know exactly where it hides and how to lock it in.

Quick answer: Open Sprite Chests and Rare Chests on the map to find the Pollo Sprite, then carry it to an Extraction Site or use a Portable Extractor to keep it.

Where the Pollo Sprite spawns

The Pollo Sprite only appears in high-tier loot. Your two sources are Sprite Chests and Rare Chests spread across the Chapter 7 Season 3 map. Because it shares the Mythic rarity of the Vini Jr Sprite, the odds of it showing up in any single chest are extremely low.

Sprite Chests give you the best shot. To hit as many as possible in one match, follow a dedicated loot route that chains Sprite Chest locations together. The more chests you crack open, the higher your cumulative chance of the Pollo Sprite finally dropping.

Tip: If the grind gets frustrating, you can trade for the Pollo Sprite through the Sprite trading system, or eliminate an enemy who is already carrying one and grab it off them.

How to extract and keep the Pollo Sprite

Finding the Pollo Sprite is only half the job. It does not join your collection until you extract it out of the match.

Pick up the Pollo Sprite from a chest or off a defeated opponent so it is active on your character.
Head to one of the Extraction Sites marked on the map, or deploy a Portable Extractor if you would rather extract on the spot.
Complete the extraction. Once it goes through, the Pollo Sprite is added permanently, so you keep it even if you are eliminated afterward.

What the Pollo Sprite does

When you score an elimination, the Pollo Sprite slowly refills shield for you and nearby squad members for a set duration. That makes it a reward for playing aggressively, since the effect only kicks in after a kill. The Water Sprite and Duck Sprite also restore shields, but neither ties the benefit to taking enemies down.

Like every Sprite, its strength grows as you level it up during a match. Higher levels extend how long the shield regeneration lasts.

Pollo Sprite LevelShield Regeneration Duration
Level 16 seconds
Level 27 seconds
Level 38 seconds
Level 49 seconds
Level 510 seconds

At maximum level, an elimination grants you and your teammates a full 10 seconds of passive shield recovery. Mastering it to Level 5 pays off most in Squads, where the shared healing can swing a fight in your favor after a knock.

The Pollo Sprite rewards patience during the hunt and aggression once you have it. Stick to Sprite Chests, run a route that hits as many as you can, and remember that the reward only counts once you have extracted it safely out of the match.
