Genshin Impact 7.0 Artifact Sets: Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace, Explained

Two Snezhnaya domain sets built around Stellar reactions, with the exact bonuses and the characters who use them best.

Two Snezhnaya domain sets built around Stellar reactions, with the exact bonuses and the characters who use them best.

Version 7.0 adds two new five-star artifact sets tied directly to Snezhnaya’s Stellar reaction system, Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace. Both drop from the region’s new artifact domain, which opens as soon as the update goes live. One set pushes personal on-field damage through Stellar Swirl, while the other is a team buffer that works even when its holder sits off-field.

Quick answer: Farm Scarlet Proof for a Stellar Swirl DPS such as Yumemizuki Mizuki, and farm Heart of the Furnace as a universal support set for Odette, Cryo Traveler, Qiqi, Yae Miko, or Alyosha to boost the whole team’s Stellar Glimmer damage.

Where to farm the new 7.0 artifact sets

Both sets share a single artifact domain in Snezhnaya, so a run there can drop pieces from either one. The domain becomes accessible once 7.0 is live, meaning you cannot pre-farm these sets ahead of the update.

Before deciding which set to chase, it helps to know one term. Stellar Glimmer is the umbrella name for the two Stellar reactions, Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl. Scarlet Proof only cares about Stellar Swirl, while Heart of the Furnace responds to both.

Scarlet Proof set bonuses and best characters

Scarlet Proof is a damage set for units that deal their damage through Stellar Swirl. The four-piece rewards you for triggering the reaction, then stacking crit and reaction damage on top of it.

Set bonusEffect
2-pieceATK increased by 18%.
4-pieceAfter the equipping character triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction, their CRIT Rate is increased by 16% and their Stellar Swirl reaction DMG is increased by 40% for the next 10 seconds.

Because the four-piece feeds both CRIT Rate and Stellar Swirl damage into the wearer, it favors an on-field damage dealer who repeatedly triggers the reaction. At launch, Yumemizuki Mizuki is the character positioned to make full use of it.

Heart of the Furnace set bonuses and best characters

Heart of the Furnace is a support set. Its value is spread across the whole party rather than concentrated on the wearer, and it stays active while the holder is off-field, which is what makes it flexible.

Set bonusEffect
2-pieceATK increased by 18%.
4-pieceAfter the equipping character triggers a Stellar Glimmer reaction or deals Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG, their ATK is increased by 12% for the next 12 seconds. Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by party members is also increased by 50%. These effects trigger even when the equipping character is off-field.

Note: The damage bonus from multiple Heart of the Furnace sets with the same name does not stack, so only one party member needs to hold it.

Since the four-piece lifts the team’s Stellar Glimmer output (covering both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl), it works well on supports with strong reaction enabling. The strongest fits are Odette, Cryo Traveler, Qiqi, Yae Miko, and Alyosha.

Characters like Diona, Beidou, and even Yumemizuki Mizuki can technically equip Heart of the Furnace, but each of them keeps more value from their existing sets, so it is not their preferred choice.

If your account leans on a single Stellar Swirl carry, Scarlet Proof gives that character the most personal upside. If you run a Stellar reaction team and want a party-wide buff that keeps working from the bench, Heart of the Furnace is the more broadly useful farm, since one holder can serve several different comps.
