Five new Battle Pass weapons arrived with Genshin Impact 7.0, one for every weapon class. Each carries its own passive, so the right pick depends on the characters you actually play rather than a single “best” choice. The ranking below sorts them by how many strong users they fit and how easy their passives are to keep active.
Quick answer: Claim Jade Vista first if you run a ranged DPS. It gives Crit Rate plus either Elemental Mastery or ATK with no trigger conditions, making it the most flexible of the five.
7.0 Battle Pass weapons tier list
This tier list reflects Version 7.0 and weighs each weapon’s passive strength, how easily you can keep it running, and how many current characters can use it well.
| Tier | Weapon (type) |
|---|---|
| S | Jade Vista (Bow) |
| A | Forged by the Golden Melody (Claymore), Frostbreath (Polearm) |
| B | Clash of Kings (Catalyst) |
| C | Heretic’s Molten Blade (Sword) |
Stats and passives at a reference glance
Every weapon shares a 510 base ATK. The secondary stat is what separates them, along with the passive condition.
| Weapon | Secondary stat | Passive summary |
|---|---|---|
| Jade Vista | 27.6% Crit Rate | Each other party member grants 64 EM (same element) or 12% ATK (different element), up to three stacks; no trigger needed. |
| Forged by the Golden Melody | 27.6% Crit Rate | Cycles +18% ATK, +120 EM, then +28% Stellar Glimmer DMG every 10s; a Stellar Glimmer reaction adds a second 12s buff. |
| Frostbreath | 45.9% Energy Recharge | Cryo or Hydro reactions grant +20% ATK for 15s and restore 6 Energy to the rest of the party, once every 16s. |
| Clash of Kings | 27.6% Crit Rate | Elemental Skill grants +20% ATK and +100 EM for 6s (12s cooldown); Charged Attack hits extend it up to 6s more. |
| Heretic’s Molten Blade | 27.6% Crit Rate | After an Elemental Skill, ATK rises 18%–36% per second based on distance traveled; lasts 14s, drops when off-field. |
S tier: Jade Vista
Jade Vista sits at the top because its buff needs nothing to activate. As long as you have teammates, the equipping character gains Elemental Mastery from same-element allies and ATK from off-element allies, stacking up to three times with the Mastery bonuses applied first. Paired with the Crit Rate substat, that makes it a clean fit for reaction-focused ranged carries.

Best users: Chasca, Tighnari, Tartaglia, Ganyu, Yoimiya, Venti, and Fischl.
A tier: Forged by the Golden Melody and Frostbreath
Forged by the Golden Melody is one of the strongest 4-star claymores available. It rotates through a +18% ATK buff, +120 Elemental Mastery, and +28% Stellar Glimmer reaction damage, with each phase lasting 10 seconds and working even while the wielder is off-field. Trigger a Stellar Glimmer reaction and a second matching buff runs for 12 seconds on top, letting two buffs overlap. The catch is that only characters who set off the new Stellar reactions get full value from it.

Best users: Sandrone and Beidou.
Frostbreath earns its spot despite not being a Crit weapon. Its 45.9% Energy Recharge and support passive make it a reliable pick for Cryo and Hydro teams. Any Cryo- or Hydro-related reaction gives the wielder +20% ATK for 15 seconds and hands 6 Elemental Energy to the rest of the party, smoothing out rotations. It functions as a battery and a buffer at once.

Best users: Escoffier, Shenhe, and Ineffa.
B tier: Clash of Kings
Clash of Kings is a strong catalyst with a Crit Rate substat, but its uptime holds it back. Using an Elemental Skill grants +20% ATK and +100 Elemental Mastery for six seconds, and the effect only refreshes every 12 seconds, so most characters see roughly 50% uptime. You can push past that by landing Charged Attacks to extend the buff by up to six more seconds. That means its ceiling belongs to Charged Attack carries specifically.

Best users: Neuvillette, Klee, Nefer, Wriothesley, Wanderer, and Yanfei.
C tier: Heretic’s Molten Blade
Heretic’s Molten Blade has the narrowest appeal of the five. After an Elemental Skill, the wielder’s ATK climbs between 18% and 36% each second depending on how far the character moved in the previous second, lasting 14 seconds and vanishing when they leave the field. Mobility-focused sword fighters can squeeze real value out of that, but for most on-field swords it underperforms the alternatives.

Best users: Zibai, Alhaitham, Clorinde, Keqing, and Lynette.
How to claim a 7.0 Battle Pass weapon
The new weapons became available after the 7.0 update on August 12, 2026. To select one, unlock the paid Gnostic Hymn or Gnostic Chorus track, then reach BP Level 30 to open the weapon choice. The five 7.0 additions join the existing Battle Pass options, so the bounty now offers 15 weapons in total, three per weapon type. You keep the ability to pick any of the older weapons if one of those suits your roster better.
Note: You confirm the pick worked when the chosen weapon appears in your inventory after redeeming the reward at Level 30. You only get one selection per Battle Pass, so match it to a character you already use rather than to its tier alone. If you have already max-refined an older Battle Pass weapon you rely on, there is no urgency to replace it.
