Version 7.1 lands on September 23, 2026, and it is one of the richer stretches Genshin Impact has run in a while thanks to the game’s sixth anniversary landing inside it. Between the usual commission grind, the Spiral Abyss reset, event rewards, and the anniversary mail, the total is large enough to matter if you are eyeing the Version 7.2 banners.
Quick answer: Free-to-play players can collect roughly 13,800 Primogems (86 wishes) across Version 7.1. With an active Welkin Moon, that rises to about 19,500 Primogems, or 120 wishes.
Version 7.1 Primogem totals for F2P and Welkin players
The figures below assume you clear the content rather than just log in. Daily commissions are the single largest block, but the anniversary rewards and Paimon’s Bargains resets are what push the number past a soft pity’s worth of pulls.
| Source | Primogems |
|---|---|
| Daily commissions | 2,520 |
| Spiral Abyss | 800 |
| Paimon’s Bargains | 1,600 |
| Imaginarium Theater | 1,240 |
| Stygian Onslaught | 450 |
| Events (flagship plus others) | 1,760 |
| Archon Quest | 1,030 |
| World Quests | 70 |
| Character trials | 80 |
| HoYoLAB check-in | 80 |
| Achievements, web events, codes | 255 |
| Anniversary mail | 1,600 |
| Maintenance compensation | 600 |
| 7.2 livestream codes | 300 |
The anniversary package is worth flagging separately. Alongside the 1,600 Primogems delivered by mail come 10 Intertwined Fates, which brings the effective anniversary value to 3,200 Primogems. Welkin Moon adds 4,500 Primogems over the version’s duration, which is where the gap between the two totals comes from.

What you can still collect before 7.0 ends
There is a smaller pot sitting in the tail end of Version 7.0, worth about 1,200 Primogems across its final nine days. It breaks down into 540 from daily commissions, 60 from a redeem code, and up to 800 from the Spiral Abyss reset. Clearing only to floor 11 caps that Abyss portion at 600.
Stacking that onto 7.1 gives a combined figure of roughly 15,000 Primogems and 94 wishes for free-to-play accounts. Welkin holders land closer to 24,000 Primogems, or about 150 wishes, by the time Version 7.2 opens.
Version 7.1 events that pay out the most
The flagship event, Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon, is the biggest single event payout at 920 Primogems, and it also hands out a free 4-star sword. Everything else combined adds another 840, with Stygian Onslaught contributing 450 on its own once you clear its difficulty tiers.

The Archon Quest alone is worth 1,030 Primogems. If you are short on time, clear that before chipping away at optional World Quests, which only total 70.

Genshin Impact 7.1 livestream codes
Three codes dropped during the Version 7.1 Special Program on September 12, 2026, each worth 100 Primogems. Their redemption window has already closed, so they are listed here for reference rather than as an action item.
| Code | Rewards |
|---|---|
| Rekviem | 100 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore |
| Vesna0923 | 100 Primogems, 5 Hero’s Wit |
| PrimaDonna | 100 Primogems, 50,000 Mora |
Longer-lived codes such as GENSHINGIFT, BALLETCOLLAB, Y1INABQB6DEX, and 2BJ64QRZ7RT8 still work and can be entered on the official redemption page or through the Paimon menu under Settings, then Account, then Redeem Code. You need Adventure Rank 10 or higher, and rewards arrive through in-game mail. If a code goes through, a “Redemption Successful” popup confirms it on the web page.
Version 7.2 leaks: Mitya, Valeriy, and the Snezhnaya map
Everything below is unconfirmed by HoYoverse and can change before release. Two new Snezhnaya characters are attached to Version 7.2, and both are Electro.
Mitya (5-star Electro)
Mitya’s leaked kit is built around Stellar-Conduct. A pole star field absorbs stacks that feed personal buffs and extra damage, while his Skill and Burst summon two entities that keep attacking after he swaps out. That gives him a foot in both camps as on-field DPS and off-field damage. Leaks also attach strong synergy with the Tsaritsa, and his Skill reportedly has separate tap and hold versions, with the hold variant handling the off-field contribution.

Valeriy (4-star Electro)
Valeriy is described as a support who stacks shielding, Elemental Mastery, and damage buffs while applying Electro off-field. He does not need much field time, which makes him a natural fit next to Mitya. At C6, leaks credit him with a 20 percent damage bonus and 120 Elemental Mastery.
Banners and map expansion
Leaked 7.2 banner lineups name Mitya, Zibai, and Linnea, leaving one slot unaccounted for. Alongside that, a sizable Snezhnaya map expansion is rumored, adding Port Belovodye, an industrial port city mixing advanced machinery with ancient ruins, and the Winged Mountain, a wing-shaped region in the Eastern Frozen Lands tied to the Cryo Sovereign.

No official release date or banner schedule for Version 7.2 has been confirmed. Treat the character kits, banner order, and map details above as provisional until HoYoverse announces them.
How to verify your Primogem total
The figures here assume full participation. Check your running total against the largest blocks first, since those are where most accounts fall short.
- Daily commissions completed every day of the version (2,520 total)
- Full Spiral Abyss clear rather than stopping at floor 11 (800 versus 600)
- Both Paimon’s Bargains resets purchased with Masterless Starglitter (1,600)
- Imaginarium Theater cleared to its highest reward tier (1,240)
- Anniversary mail claimed before it expires (1,600 plus 10 Intertwined Fates)
If you land near 86 wishes as a free-to-play account by the end of Version 7.1, you have collected what the patch has to offer. Missing days of commissions or skipping the shop resets is usually the difference between that figure and a lower one, and those two blocks alone account for over 4,000 Primogems.
