There is no wishing involved and no randomness — you pick the character you want.

Running separately from the limited pick is the usual anniversary standard selector, called “Across the Frozen Wilds, Honing One’s Edge.” It draws from the permanent Wanderlust Invocation roster and includes eight characters, with Yumemizuki Mizuki as the newest addition to the pool.

As with the limited selector, the confirmation is final. Long-running accounts that already hold most of the older standard names generally get the most value out of Mizuki; newer accounts are better served by a carry or a healer they lack.
Anniversary rewards: 1,600 Primogems and 10 Intertwined Fates
The anniversary package arrives through two channels — in-game mail and the “Rainbow’s End: Resplendent Starlight” login event. Together they are worth 20 Event Wishes before you touch anything else in the patch. The Initial Top-Up Bonus also resets with the version, restoring the double Genesis Crystal bonus on each pack tier.

Version 7.1 livestream codes (expire September 15)
Three Special Program codes are live and worth 300 Primogems in total. They stop working on September 15, so redeem them now rather than waiting for the patch. Your account needs to be at least Adventure Rank 10.

Welkin Moon contributes 90 Primogems per claimed day, which adds 3,780 Primogems over the version’s roughly 42-day run. The paid Battle Pass layers on another 680 Primogems and four Intertwined Fates, but only if you clear enough levels to reach those reward tiers.
One important limit: 91 pulls covers a single hard pity from zero, but it does not guarantee a specific featured 5-star. Losing a 50/50 pushes the worst case to 180 wishes, or 28,800 Primogems. Those pulls also arrive gradually across daily commissions, events, and endgame resets, so only a fraction is available on day one of Phase 1.
Silver Light: free 4-star sword from the Moonchase Festival
The Moonchase Festival returns to Yilong Wharf in Liyue as the version’s flagship event, and completing it awards a free 4-star sword called Silver Light. At level 90 it reaches 510 base ATK with a 41.3 percent ATK substat, and its passive is built around Elemental Mastery.
A second event, “Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure’s Eve,” runs alongside it, and both feed into the Primogem totals above.
Two things need doing on different clocks. Redeem the three codes before September 15, then treat September 23 as the real start line: finish the Archon Quest early so the limited selector is banked, claim the standard pick from the Events menu, and log in through the anniversary track so none of those 10 Intertwined Fates go unclaimed. Everything else — the 91-plus pulls, the free sword, the Crystal tier reset — accumulates over the version’s six weeks.
