Remove the two extra Prime Ice cubes to match the Order Illustration and claim an Exquisite chest in Svetloledovka.

Remove the two extra Prime Ice cubes to match the Order Illustration and claim an Exquisite chest in Svetloledovka.

Malevich is a young artist in Svetloledovka who is stuck on a sculpture made of Prime Ice Construct cubes. He wants his piece to match a reference for an exhibition, but he has used too many blocks. Helping him means trimming the construct down to the correct shape by dismantling the cubes that do not belong.

Quick answer: Stand beside the camera facing the construct, dismantle the cube on the right, then remove the block on the left in the row behind it, next to the frozen crate. That matches the Order Illustration and completes the quest.

Where the Malevich quest starts in Svetloledovka

Head to the eastern part of Svetloledovka. Walking into the area triggers a cutscene with Malevich, who is visibly frustrated by his ice sculpture. He recognizes the Traveler and Paimon and asks for help fixing the construct so it can be sent to Snezhnograd.

Before you can act, he explains the goal. The sculpture should be built from five Prime Ice blocks to recreate The Master’s form, and right now there are two extra cubes cluttering the design.

Read the Order Illustration reference

The Order Illustration shows how the finished construct should look from three angles. Your job is to make the real sculpture match that diagram by taking away the cubes that stick out. Everything you need to line up your view is already placed for you at the site.

A camera sits in front of the construct as a fixed guide. Standing next to it gives you the same viewpoint shown in the reference, which makes it easy to see exactly which two blocks are wrong.

Remove the two extra Prime Ice cubes

Stand next to the camera and face the construct so your view matches the Order Illustration. This is the position that makes the two spare blocks obvious.

Dismantle the cube on the right. This is the first of the two blocks marked as unnecessary in your current view.
Malevich Prime Ice Construct Quest 5 In Genshin Impact
Turn your attention to the row behind and remove the Prime Ice block on the left, right next to the frozen crate. With both cubes gone, the sculpture matches the five-block reference.

Note: If you take out the wrong block, Paimon lets you restart the puzzle, so there is no penalty for a mistake.

Rewards and how to confirm completion

Once the construct matches the illustration, the puzzle and the quest both wrap up. There is no achievement tied to this task. Instead, Malevich thanks you and you receive an Exquisite chest containing random artifacts.

Why Malevich needs the sculpture fixed

Malevich looks up to Kazimir Larionov, known as The Master, and dreams of becoming a celebrated artist in the same way. When Snezhnograd requested recreations of The Master’s works for the Classics, Redux: The Glaciafruit Master Returns (A Special Homage Exhibition), he saw it as his chance to prove himself.

With the extra cubes cleared away, Malevich can finally send his corrected piece to the exhibition. He draws confidence from the fact that Larionov also began as a poor worker before his talent was recognized, which is exactly the encouragement your quick puzzle fix gives him.
