Defeat Admiral Grand near the Bridge and Pergola to collect the Toe Biter Head and matching crafting parts.

Defeat Admiral Grand near the Bridge and Pergola to collect the Toe Biter Head and matching crafting parts.

The Toe Biter Head is a single-drop crafting part in Grounded 2 that comes from a specific pond-area creature rather than from ordinary Toe Biters. If you want it, you need to find and kill Admiral Grand, a tougher variant carrying an O.R.C. laser attachment, in the eastern part of Brookhollow Park.

Quick answer: Travel to the east side of the park near the Bridge and Pergola, defeat Admiral Grand, and it will drop one Toe Biter Head along with Toe Biter Shell, Toe Biter Claw, and Toe Biter Venom.

Where to find Admiral Grand

Admiral Grand roams the eastern stretch of the park, close to the Bridge and Pergola. Open your map and head toward that region to close the distance. The creature stays near the water, so scan the ground around the pond edge as you approach.

Scan Admiral Grand before the fight

Use PEEP.R to scan Admiral Grand once you spot it. The scan confirms its weakness to Spicy damage, marks the Rump as its weak point, and flags the O.R.C. laser attachment it uses to fire ranged blasts. Knowing the weak point matters, because hits to the Rump do far more damage than trading blows head-on.

Gear to bring

Because Admiral Grand is weak to Spicy, a Spicy-enhanced weapon such as a Sour Katanga speeds the fight up. Check your inventory before engaging and equip a gas mask, which protects you from the status pressure during the encounter.

Defeat Admiral Grand

Approach from behind and focus your strikes on the Rump. This is the weak point, so landing hits there brings the creature down much faster than attacking the front.
Watch for the laser blasts from its O.R.C. attachment. Sidestep or break line of sight when it charges, then return to the Rump once the blast passes.

Keep pressuring the weak point until its health drops. Spicy damage stacks up quickly, so a well-timed Spicy weapon combined with rear attacks ends the fight without a long grind.

Confirm the Toe Biter Head dropped

When Admiral Grand dies, loot notifications appear on screen. A successful kill drops the following, with the Toe Biter Head as a single-count item.

DropAmount
Toe Biter Shell+4
Toe Biter Claw+2
Toe Biter Head+1
Toe Biter Venom+2
O.R.C. Receiver+1
Hyper Beam+1

Open your inventory and check the crafting materials tab to verify the Toe Biter Head is there. Since only one drops per kill, you will need to defeat Admiral Grand again if you want more of them.

With the head secured alongside Toe Biter Claws, Shells, and Venom, you have the parts that feed into the pond-themed Toe Biter gear introduced in the Into the Abyss update, including the amphibious Toe-biter Buggy line of content.
