Every egg in Grow a Chicken Fighter sits at the end of a fixed hatching chain. Random hatching wastes rolls, because most eggs only appear after you own a specific chicken from an earlier egg. The fastest route is to pick the egg you want, then work backward through the chain until you reach a chicken you already have or can farm.
Quick answer: Find your target egg in the chains below, then breed toward the “guaranteed drop” chicken in that branch. That chicken drops the egg 100% of the time, so once you own it you can farm the egg on demand instead of relying on low hatch odds.
Start with the three base eggs
Nest Egg, Scratch Egg, and Thunder Egg are the roots of almost every chain. Grab them for free from codes before you spend any cash on hatching. Open the ticket icon in the top-left corner to enter codes.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| LETMECOOK | Thunder Egg, 50 Cash, 2x Money for 30 minutes |
| SERGIOVERSE | Scratch Egg, 50 Cash, 2x Corn for 30 minutes |
| WELCOME | Nest Egg and 50 Cash |
| 40KCCU | Blazing Egg |
You can also claim a free Thunder Egg from the Community tab under Rewards, giving new players two Thunder Eggs early. Codes are case-sensitive, so type them exactly.

Add to Google Preferences →How egg chains work
Each chain follows the same pattern. A base egg hatches a chicken, that chicken drops the next egg in the sequence, and hatching that egg produces the chicken tied to the egg you want. Two numbers control everything.
- Hatch chance is the odds of pulling a specific chicken out of an egg.
- Drop rate is how often a chicken you own produces the target egg.
Every branch has a partial-drop chicken and a guaranteed-drop chicken. The guaranteed breeder is the one to keep, since it removes the drop-rate gamble. Each chain also has a rare secret or mythic pull with very low odds, which is a bonus rather than a requirement.
Note: Do not sell or fuse a chicken that opens an egg branch you still need. Confirm what it feeds into using your Flock index before turning it into fusion material or cash.
Nest Egg branch eggs
Nest Eggs feed into Cosmo Brat, which drops Scratch Eggs and opens the Cursed and Arena lines. Charm and its Bloom follow-up also grow out of the Scratch route here.
Cursed Egg
| Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|
| Cosmo Brat (from Nest Egg) | 10% | Drops Scratch Eggs |
| NPC Chick | 12% | Cursed Egg, 80% |
| Stone Face Chicken (from Cursed Egg) | — | Cursed Egg, 100% |
| 404 Chick (secret) | Under 1% | Rarest pull |
Arena Egg
| Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|
| Cosmo Brat (from Nest Egg) | 10% | Drops Scratch Eggs |
| Slugger Hen | 8% | Arena Egg, 75% |
| Enforcer Rooster / Strike Hen | 11% | Arena Egg, guaranteed |
| Baron Cluck (mythic) | 2% | Rarest pull |
Charm Egg and Bloom Egg
Charm runs from Nest Egg to Scratch Egg, then into the Charm chicken pool. Keeping Ballerina Hen is the checkpoint that carries you into the Bloom line.
| Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|
| Bow Chick | 12% | Charm Egg, 70% |
| Plush Chick / Cupcake Chick | 15% | Charm Egg, guaranteed |
| Glam Hen (legendary) | 3% | Rarest Charm pull |
| Ballerina Hen (from Charm Egg) | 11% | Bloom Egg, 70% |
| Cauldron Hen | 12% | Bloom Egg, guaranteed |
Scratch Egg branch eggs
Once you have Scratch Eggs flowing, Circuit and Diner both split off from the same egg. Each has a clean guaranteed breeder to lock in.
| Egg | Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Circuit | Taser Hen | 12% | Circuit Egg, 75% |
| Circuit | Drone Hen | 21% | Circuit Egg, guaranteed |
| Circuit | Overclock Rooster (celestial) | 3% | Rarest pull |
| Diner | Pizza Rooster | 12% | Diner Egg, 80% |
| Diner | Chef Rooster | 16% | Diner Egg, guaranteed |
| Diner | Mime Hen (mythic) | 2% | Rarest pull |
Thunder Egg branch eggs
Thunder Egg is the strongest early root because codes hand you two. It leads into Ordnance and Void directly, and it also sits inside the longer Royal and Fortune chains further down.
| Egg | Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ordnance | Commando Rooster | 7% | Ordnance Egg, 70% |
| Ordnance | Ronan Hen | 16% | Ordnance Egg, guaranteed |
| Ordnance | Bulwark Knight (mythic) | 3% | Rarest pull |
| Void | Astro Chick | 11% | Void Egg, 70% |
| Void | Probe Rooster | 25% | Void Egg, guaranteed |
| Void | Nebula Hen (cosmic) | 1% | Rarest pull |
Royal Egg and Fortune Egg (long chains)
These two are the deepest chains and share most of their early path. Both begin with Classic Rooster dropping Nest Eggs, move through Thunder Eggs, and split at Founder Rooster.
Royal route: Classic Rooster (drops Nest Eggs) leads to Viking Rooster (2% hatch, 70% Thunder Egg drop) or Static Chick (14% hatch, guaranteed Thunder Egg). From there you reach Founder Rooster (3% hatch, 50% Royal Egg drop). Rooster of Fortune, hatched from a Royal Egg at 15%, then drops Royal Eggs 100% of the time. The rare pull is Radiant Fenghuang (celestial, 1%).
Fortune route: The same Classic Rooster to Nest Egg to Thunder Egg path reaches Founder Rooster, which also drops Fortune Eggs at 50%. Baron Cluck (6% hatch) then drops Fortune Eggs 100% of the time. The rare pull is Golden Goose (secret, 1%).
Cross-branch eggs: Fang and Haunt
A few eggs require a mid-tier egg from an earlier chain rather than a base egg. Fang branches off Arena or Royal, and Haunt branches off Arena, so finish those chains first.
| Egg | Chicken | Hatch chance | Egg drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fang (from Arena or Royal Egg) | Spider Chicken | 9–11% | Fang Egg, 60% |
| Fang | Snapper Rooster | 15% | Fang Egg, guaranteed |
| Fang | Chameleon Hen (mythic) | 2% | Rarest pull |
| Haunt (from Arena Egg) | Creepy Clown | 11% | Haunt Egg, 75% |
| Haunt | Zombie Chick | 23% | Haunt Egg, guaranteed |
| Haunt | Reaper Rooster (cosmic) | Under 1% | Rarest pull |
Special and unavailable eggs
Blazing Egg sits outside the breeding chains. You get it from the Hot event or the 40KCCU code, not from any chicken drop. Two eggs cannot be obtained through normal play right now.
| Egg | Status |
|---|---|
| Blazing Egg | Hot event or the 40KCCU code |
| Growth Egg | Currently unobtainable |
| Grudge Egg | Currently unobtainable |
How to confirm a chain worked
You know a branch is unlocked when the new egg appears in your inventory and its matching chicken shows up in the Flock index. Once you own a guaranteed-drop breeder, that egg will keep appearing as it lays, so you no longer depend on hatch luck. If an egg is not dropping, the usual cause is that you sold or fused the breeder chicken before it produced the egg, or you are still one tier back in the chain and holding only the partial-drop chicken. Rebuild the missing step before spending more hatches.
Drop rates can shift between updates, so treat the odds above as your route map and check the live egg screen before committing to a long farming session on any single branch.
