Haze Seas Dragonborne

Your Race in Haze Seas is the passive backbone of your entire build. Unlike Devil Fruits, swords and Fighting Styles — which you can swap freely — your race grants permanent stat bonuses and unique abilities that shape how you move, survive and fight. This guide covers all seven races, their V1 and V2 passives, how to unlock the powerful V2 upgrades, and which races sit at the top of the tier list.

You receive your first race by spinning at the start menu when you begin the game. Each race rolls at a different rarity, and you can use Race Spins (earned in-game or from codes) to reroll until you land the one you want. Once you reach the endgame you can then evolve your race into its far stronger V2 form.

How to Get Race V2

Unlocking a Race V2 requires Level 2200 to start the quest, followed by a three-step questline: defeat a Sea Beast, collect 50 Chests from around the map, and defeat the Zenith Boss. After finishing the quests you pay 1,000,000 Beli plus 100 Gems to unlock the V2 variant. The quest can be repeated to unlock V2 for any other race you own.

Haze Seas Race Tier List

Here’s how the races stack up based on their passive bonuses and how much they contribute to a strong build. Dragonborne and D.Clan lead the pack, but the best race for you also depends on whether you run a Devil Fruit — Fishborne, for example, jumps in value for fruit users thanks to its Water Immunity.
