The seas in Haze Seas aren’t just a backdrop for island-hopping — they host dynamic, server-wide events that reward teamwork with rare loot and unlock some of the game’s most important progression. From treasure-vault raids to deadly storms that summon bosses, knowing when and where these events happen is key to gearing up fast. This guide breaks down every Sea Event, how it works, and exactly what you can earn from each one.
Treasure Shrine Raid
The Treasure Shrine Raid is the headline Sea Event. A hidden treasure vault surfaces in one of three possible locations in Sea 2, appearing roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes after the previous raid ends. A server message announces it about 30 seconds before it begins, so keep an eye on the chat.
Once the shrine surfaces, players have exactly 5 minutes to destroy the central treasure chest, which has 2–3 million HP. If the timer runs out, the vault doors slam shut and the chamber floods — any players still inside are instantly killed by the rising water, so don’t get greedy if the clock is almost up.
Shrine Raid Rewards
Every player who deals at least 10% damage to the central chest earns the full reward package. The single player who deals the most damage also walks away with a random Rare-or-better Devil Fruit.
| Reward | Who gets it |
|---|---|
| 30,000 – 80,000 Beli | All players with 10%+ damage |
| +1 Level | All players with 10%+ damage |
| 25 Gems | All players with 10%+ damage |
| Shrine Relic (100%, Legendary material) | All players with 10%+ damage |
| Random Rare+ Devil Fruit | Top-damage player only |
Completing shrines also unlocks a set of Titles: The MVP (earn a fruit from a raid), Shrine Plunderer (defeat 1 shrine), Shrine Conqueror (defeat 20), Relic Raider (defeat 100), and the unlucky Drowned title for dying to the flood.

Every 2 hours 35 minutes, a storm rolls across Sea 2 and Sea 3 and lasts exactly 10 minutes. Storms are far more than weather — they’re the trigger for some of the game’s most important boss spawns.
During the storm window, the Zenith Boss spawns underground at Shadow Island. Defeating it is required for both the Zenith sword (part of the 3SS questline) and the Race V2 quest, making the storm one of the most valuable recurring events to prepare for. In the upcoming Sea 3, storms will also be central to spawning the Ghostship and Cthulhu bosses.
Upcoming Sea Events
Several major events are teased on the official board but aren’t live yet. Here’s what to expect when they arrive.
Ghost Ship (Unreleased)
A green ghost herald will appear in the sea during storms, and players summon the Ghost Ship by sacrificing 20 points’ worth of Devil Fruits to it. Fruits are worth different points based on rarity: Common counts as 1, Uncommon as 3, Rare as 5, Legendary as 15, and a single Mythic (20 points) summons it instantly.
The ship moves in a triangular pattern and surrounds itself with damaging fog that chips 1% of your HP per second as you close in. Defeat it and it crashes into the sea, dropping a personal Ghost Chest that each player has 20 seconds to open. Guaranteed drops include the Phantom Lantern (used for Black Leg V2, Dominus Messor and the Prismatic Shard), plus a chance at a Blade Fragment, Gems, Beli and levels.
Cthulhu Endgame Boss (Unreleased)

Cthulhu is set to be the game’s ultimate endgame encounter — a Level 10,000 boss with two health bars. Summoning it requires a Prismatic Shard, crafted at Doran the Forge from five Mythical materials (Phantom Lantern, Dragon Heart, Seabeast Heart, Raijin’s Core and Saturn’s Ring), which is then fed to a whirlpool that appears during a storm.
When Cthulhu awakens the ocean turns nearly black, night is forced until its death, and all players experience screen distortion. Unlike other bosses it has no despawn timer — it roams the seas in a square pattern indefinitely, only stopping to fight when a player enters its aggro range. It’s shaping up to be the toughest fight in Haze Seas.
Wandering Merchant (Unreleased)

A rare traveling trader will appear at a random location in Sea 3 every 1h 30m to 2h 30m, announced with a chat message. He sells hard-to-find crafting materials — the Ancient Blade Relic for 1M Beli and the Blade Fragment for 300k Beli — but each item can only be bought once. If you buy out his stock he vanishes early; otherwise he leaves on his own after 7 minutes. Making deals with him unlocks the Titles The One Who Found Him and Black Market Hunter.
Sea 3 Bosses (Unreleased)
The board also teases additional storm-driven bosses tied to the upcoming Sea 3 region, the Land of the Gods. Details are still being finalised by the developers, and we’ll update this guide with full spawn methods and drop tables once Sea 3 goes live.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often does the Treasure Shrine spawn?
The shrine surfaces roughly every 1 hour and 45 minutes after the previous raid ends, in one of three Sea 2 locations. You then have 5 minutes to destroy the central vault before it floods.
What does the storm do in Haze Seas?
Every 2 hours 35 minutes a storm hits Sea 2 and Sea 3 for 10 minutes. During it, the Zenith Boss spawns at Shadow Island — needed for the Zenith sword and Race V2 quests — and storms will also power the future Ghostship and Cthulhu spawns.
How do you get rewards from the Shrine Raid?
Deal at least 10% of the damage to the central chest to earn Beli, a level, Gems and a guaranteed Shrine Relic. Whoever deals the most damage also receives a random Rare or better Devil Fruit.
