Hell Followed With Him is the 19th main mission in Marvel’s Wolverine and one of the Japan chapter‘s shorter stretches, running from a quiet village compound up a cliffside and into a shrine. It holds five collectibles, and every one of them sits slightly off the objective path.

Quick answer: There are five collectibles here — four Material Crates worth 50 Materials each, plus one Whisky Bottle called The Itsu Single Malt. No Nightmare Doors or Nightmare Trials appear in this mission.

Village compound: The first two Material Crates

Both opening crates sit in the same starting area, one on the ground level and one on the raised terrace above it. Grab them before you interact with the memorial statue, since the statue moves the mission forward.

Crate behind the house near Jean

From the mission’s opening position, take the left-hand path into the compound and walk up to Jean.

At the spot where she kneels down, turn left again. The crate is tucked behind the house on your left, out of view from the main path.

Crate behind the archery targets

Return to the memorial statue in the starting area and climb the stone staircase to its right.

Head left at the top of the stairs onto the wooden porch. The crate sits in the corner behind the bow and arrow targets.

Swampy field: The third Material Crate

Interacting with the memorial statue sends Logan over a chasm and into a wide field packed with enemies. Fight through the whole group first — searching mid-combat only gets you interrupted.

With the field clear, follow the tall grass toward the back-right corner where the water is. The crate rests on a patch of raised earth just short of the waterline, close to a set of fallen logs.

Cliff climb with Jean: The Itsu Single Malt whisky bottle

This is the one collectible most players walk past. During the mountainside climb, Jean uses her telekinesis to hold a set of stone blocks in place so Logan can scale the cliff face. Keep climbing until you reach the hut at the top.

At the hut, ignore the waypoint for a moment and look over the edge at the balcony below you. A blue scent trail runs along it, leading down to a corner stacked with wooden barrels. Drop down and the bottle is sitting there on the rocks.

The objective marker pushes you to the left as soon as you arrive at the hut. Following it immediately walks you past the bottle and locks the area behind you.

Shrine interior: The final Material Crate

The last crate needs almost no searching. Step through the shrine entrance after the enemy-filled stretch and turn immediately left inside the temple hall. The crate sits in the alcove next to a statue, right beside the doorway.

Check that left-hand alcove before you move deeper into the hall, because the story picks up quickly once you cross the room.

How to confirm you cleared every collectible

Each crate plays an opening animation and awards a visible +50 Materials pickup, so four confirmations mean all the crates are done. The bottle registers by name — The Itsu Single Malt — when Logan picks it up, which is your check that the balcony detour worked.
