Hellraiser: Revival — How to Open the Duck Keycard Exit Door (S&M Duckie Key)

Grab the Leviathan Tip, align the diamond puzzle, and claim the S&M Duckie Key to escape the cult hideout.

Grab the Leviathan Tip, align the diamond puzzle, and claim the S&M Duckie Key to escape the cult hideout.

The locked exit out of the cult’s basement in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has a reader marked with a duck sticker, and no ordinary keycard will open it. Aidan needs a specific access item hidden inside a miniature Leviathan mechanism nearby, and reaching it takes one missing part and a short rotation puzzle.

Quick answer: Grab the Leviathan Tip from the office near the door, insert it into the diamond puzzle across the hall, rotate the center section once and the bottom section twice, then use the S&M Duckie key on the duck-marked reader.

Get the Leviathan Tip from the office

You reach this point after the torture room beneath the hideout, once you fall into the chamber where cultists kneel before the statue. Clear the room first. The kneeling cultists have limited vision, so you can stealth-kill the two patrolling the sides, then take out the pair in front of the statue. Watch for one more cultist roaming the halls.

With the area clear, head to the end of the hallway and step into the small side office next to the locked door with the duck symbol.

Search the office for loot. A cabinet here can be lockpicked, and there’s an inventory capacity upgrade worth grabbing while you’re inside.

Find the desk holding the old computer monitors at the room’s rear and collect the Leviathan Tip. The description says it was designed to fit into a slot on something.

Solve the Leviathan puzzle for the S&M Duckie key

The Leviathan mechanism sits just across the hall from the office, in the painting-lined corridor you passed through earlier after sneaking past Bruno. It’s a diamond-shaped pedestal with interconnected lines running across three rotating sections and one fixed section.

Leave the office, cross the hallway, and go around the statue to the double doors. Open them and approach the diamond-shaped pedestal under the light.
Interact with the pedestal and insert the Leviathan Tip into its slot. This activates the rotating sections.
Rotate the center section once, then rotate the bottom section twice. Leave the top section in its starting position. The lines align, and the mechanism unfolds.
Remove the S&M Duckie key from the compartment once it’s open. Its description plainly says it opens the duckie door.

If those exact rotations don’t line everything up on your end, the puzzle is solved purely by matching the lines, so nudge the remaining section until every pathway connects before it will release the key.

Beat the shotgun cultist and open the door

On the way back to the exit, an armored cultist wielding a shotgun blocks your path. His weapon hits hard and can knock Aidan to the ground, so don’t stand directly in front of it.

You have two reliable ways to drop him:

  • Carry a blunt weapon like a spiked bat, use the statue for cover against a blast, then sprint in and swing until he falls.
  • If you have the ammo, shoot his head until the armor breaks, then finish with a clean headshot.

With the hallway clear, return to the barred door under the green EXIT sign and inspect the console with the duck sticker. Use the S&M Duckie in the slot to disengage the lock.

The door opens into the lounge corridor ahead, leading toward the red-carpeted staircase. That confirms it worked, and Aidan moves on to the next section of the level.
