Honkai Star Rail 4.6: Pearl and Sparxie Elation Team in Memory of Chaos

What E0 and E2 Pearl change for a four-character Elation lineup running Voracity Corrosion at Corruption Level 3.

Pearl is built to sit next to other Elation characters, and the four-slot Elation lineup that pairs her with Sparxie, Yao Guang, and the Elation Trailblazer is the clearest way to see why. Every number in her kit scales off how many Elation allies stand beside her, which turns a Memory of Chaos run into a fairly simple test: fill all four slots with Elation, and her Ultimate stops being an action advance and starts handing out a full extra turn.

Quick answer: Put Pearl, Sparxie, Yao Guang, and the Elation Trailblazer on the field together so all four allies are on the Path of Elation. That is the exact condition that upgrades Pearl’s Ultimate from a 10–30% action advance to a full extra turn for the ally she marks as the Aesthetic Archetype.

The four-character Elation lineup and its gear

Sparxie takes the damage seat, Yao Guang and the Trailblazer handle buffs and Elation generation, and Pearl covers healing and mitigation while feeding the Aesthetic Archetype. Pearl is a five-star Ice character on the Path of Elation whose entire kit scales off DEF, so she wants defensive main stats rather than the attack-oriented pieces her teammates run.

All four run maxed Trace trees in the showcase runs. That matters more than usual here, because Pearl’s Traces are what convert her DEF into Elation, and that converted value is the pool her first Eidolon shares out to everyone else.

How Pearl’s Ultimate and Deep Learning window work

Pearl’s Ultimate, Appraise Soul’s Ground, costs 180 Energy. It grants 20 Certified Banger and marks one ally as the Aesthetic Archetype, putting them into Deep Learning. That state upgrades Pearl’s own Basic ATK for its next three uses, which is where the team’s healing and a chunk of its damage come from.

Her Basic ATK normally deals 90% of DEF to a single target. Inside Deep Learning it becomes an all-target attack for 100% of DEF that heals the team twice and adds 60% Ice Elation DMG calculated from the Archetype’s stats instead of her own. Her Skill, Relume Life’s Light, grants 15 Certified Banger and heals for 12% of DEF plus 240, with a second heal on the lowest-HP ally, but it consumes a Skill Point, so most rotations lean on the enhanced Basic ATK.

The Talent, Grow Grace from Grit, turns every point of Certified Banger into 200 Repellency, which blocks 60% of incoming damage for an ally. Repellency does not expire, and Certified Banger caps at 50 points. Allies sitting at 50% HP or below also take 30% less damage, which is what covers the gap between heals when Pearl is busy using her Basic ATK.

E0 versus E2 Pearl: What changes

At E0, Pearl is doing everything above and nothing more. The two Eidolons that separate an E0 run from an E2 run are both team-wide multipliers rather than personal upgrades, which is why the difference shows up in Sparxie’s damage numbers rather than in Pearl’s.

EidolonEffect
E1 — Nestle That Pearl in Uninked TidesWith 2, 3, or 4 Elation characters, all allies gain Elation equal to 10%, 20%, or 80% of Pearl’s own Elation, capped at a 60% increase.
E2 — Crop That Dappled DawnIncreases all allies’ Elation DMG by 15%. Her Ultimate also action advances other Elation allies, excluding Pearl and the Aesthetic Archetype, and doubles the Certified Banger and Punchline gained at the start of the extra turn.

E1 is the bigger swing of the two in a full Elation team, since 80% of Pearl’s Elation passed to everyone else stacks on top of a stat her Traces are already inflating. E2 layers a flat 15% Elation DMG boost on that and turns her Ultimate into a team-wide action advance instead of a single-target one, which is what compresses the cycle count between the two runs.

Note: these values come from beta testing and can still be adjusted before release. Pearl’s rarity, element, and Path are settled — she is a five-star Ice character on the Path of Elation — but her numbers are not.

Running Voracity Corrosion at Corruption Level 3

The stage runs as two battles. The opening wave mixes trash and elites, including Ice Out of Space and Daybreak Squadron: Dawnlance, and the second half is the SparxiCon boss fight across two phases. Both halves reward Elation-heavy teams, since Elation attacks generate double stacks against the enemies that absorb elemental hits, and Aha Instant strips the speed buff off the Rocking Rebel enemy type.

SparxiCon is an Elation-centric boss. The fight pushes your main damage dealer into a subfield duel phase where you clear the summoned mobs, and finishing that hands you a free Elation Skill on the way out. Enemy states applied during the phase transition need to be dispelled before the burst window opens, so keep the team’s Elation skill uses available rather than dumping them early.

How to confirm the run cleared

Two on-screen cues confirm the stage is done. The banner reading “The power of Voracity has been suppressed!” fires when the Corruption modifier is neutralised, and the “Battle Over” card follows once the final enemy drops. If the Voracity line never appears, the stage is still applying its Corruption effects and the fight is not resolved.

Where the rotation breaks down

  • Swapping any of the four slots to a non-Elation character drops the Ultimate from a full extra turn back to a 30% action advance at best.
  • Leaning on Pearl’s Skill instead of her enhanced Basic ATK drains Skill Points the rest of the team needs, since the Skill costs one and the Basic ATK does not.
  • Certified Banger stops accumulating at 50 points, so extra generation past that cap is wasted rather than banked.
  • Pearl scales off DEF, not ATK. Attack-focused main stats on her relics reduce both her healing and the Ice Elation damage attached to the Deep Learning Basic ATK.

Pearl is lined up for Version 4.6, and no official banner date has been confirmed yet. Until she is live, the practical takeaway is that her value is almost entirely conditional on the company she keeps, so anyone planning to run her should be building toward four Elation slots rather than slotting her into an existing team as a generic healer.
