Leakers have mapped out a tentative character roadmap for Honkai: Star Rail stretching from Version 5.0 to 5.4, and almost every name on it is already familiar. The list leans heavily on reworked versions of existing units, with reskinned Stellaron Hunters sitting alongside a handful of fresh faces tied to the rumored new Path.
Quick answer: The leaked 5.0-5.4 roster names Firefly SP and Misha SP in 5.0, Polka Kakamond in 5.1, Kafka SP and Obsidian in 5.2, Dan Heng SP3 and Xuanquan in 5.3, and March 7th SP in 5.4. HoYoverse has confirmed none of it.
The leaked 5.0-5.4 character roadmap
The breakdown traces back to the leaker Full Stop Chan and was circulated alongside HXG. It is presented as a partial schedule rather than a locked one, and the people sharing it have flagged that other characters for these versions are not fully pinned down yet. Version 4.6 is currently live, so 5.0 is still several months out.
| Version | Leaked characters |
|---|---|
| 5.0 | Firefly SP, Misha SP |
| 5.1 | Polka Kakamond |
| 5.2 | Kafka SP, Obsidian |
| 5.3 | Dan Heng SP3, Xuanquan |
| 5.4 | March 7th SP |
Every entry here is unverified and subject to change. Leak lists like this shift often or turn out wrong before a single beta build appears.
The SP forms and what they change
SP characters are reworked versions of units already in the game, rebuilt around new kits and Paths rather than being new faces. Five of them show up across this arc, and the names fit the story that 5.x is expected to tell.
| Character | Detail in the leak |
|---|---|
| Firefly SP | Stellaron Hunter; completes SP forms for the group |
| Misha SP | Said to receive an adult form |
| Kafka SP | Stellaron Hunter |
| Dan Heng SP3 | Would give him four playable versions |
| March 7th SP | Already has Evernight as an SP form |
The roster includes Firefly and Kafka among the Stellaron Hunters. Mortenax Blade and Silver Wolf Lv. 999 returned in Versions 4.2 and 4.3, respectively; if Firefly and Kafka get SP variants too, every Hunter would have one by the arc’s conclusion. That would connect both characters to the next story chapter.
Dan Heng and March 7th represent the Astral Express. Another Dan Heng would give him four distinct versions, enough to make a full team from his variants alone. March 7th has a comparable setup, with Evernight already qualifying as one of her SP forms.
Among the original Astral Express crew, Welt alone has no SP form yet. Acheron and Sampo, along with Luocha and Jingliu, have not received theirs either.
Adult Misha and a possible Penacony return
Misha is a Memetic Entity formed from a fragment of Mikhail Char Legwork’s memories. Mikhail’s history with the Nameless makes an older Misha’s return to the Astral Express consistent with the lore. Rather than signaling a combat detail, the leak presents his adult form as a clue to a major Penacony return.
The new faces: Polka Kakamond, Obsidian, and Xuanquan
Three roadmap entries are new characters, not reworks: Polka Kakamond, a member of the Genius Society; Xuanquan, one of the Xianzhou Alliance’s Seven Arbiter Generals; and Obsidian, a Ten Stonehearts member. Pearl and other Stonehearts are already playable, so another character from that group could reasonably debut as well.
The Finality Path these characters may follow
A separate batch of leaks suggests that a new playable Path, Finality, could arrive during the 5.x arc, perhaps as soon as 5.0. Its release would follow the pattern of Elation in 4.0 and Remembrance in 3.x. Lore links Finality to Terminus, an Aeon believed to dwell in the future while moving backward through time, making it Trailblaze’s opposite. The Stellaron Hunters follow this Path in lore, which explains its recurring association with Firefly and Kafka.
Unlike Elation or Remembrance, Finality is not described as a single mono-Path squad. Its characters are expected to spread across roughly five existing team archetypes instead. The shared system underneath uses a team-wide Finality Gauge that runs from 0 to 200, and filling it to 100 lets the team enter a Burst Mode that amplifies Finality units until the charge drops back down.
How confident to be in all this
None of these characters, forms, or the Finality Path have been confirmed by HoYoverse. A roadmap this far ahead sits firmly in early-rumor territory, where names move between versions, kits get rewritten, and whole entries vanish before a beta ever touches them. Multiple reposts from different accounts do not add weight either, since they often trace back to one original claim.
Treat the whole list as a map of what is being tested and talked about, not a release schedule you can plan Stellar Jade around. The clearest signals will arrive once the 5.0 story actually begins and the characters involved start taking shape in the narrative.
