How to Build a Stellar-Conduct Team in Genshin Impact

Stellar-Conduct is a stronger version of the Superconduct reaction. When Electro and Cryo hit the same enemy, they normally cause Superconduct. Add a character who converts Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct, and that same Cryo-plus-Electro interaction triggers the upgraded reaction instead, forming a Polestar Field that boosts Cryo and Electro damage and shreds Physical Resistance.

Quick answer: Put one converter (Sandrone, Odette, or Cryo Traveler) in the party, then add at least one more Cryo and one Electro character to apply both elements. That combination turns Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct.

The converter: the one required role

Without a converter in the party, Cryo and Electro keep triggering plain Superconduct. The converter has a passive that specifically transforms Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct. As of version 7.0, only three Cryo characters can do this.

Sandrone is the centerpiece for most builds because her kit is designed around dealing Stellar-Conduct damage from the field through her Charged Attack and Elemental Burst. Odette and the Cryo Traveler give you a second and third way to enable the reaction, which matters if you want another Cryo unit driving the party.

Cryo characters that fit the reaction

You need consistent Cryo application to keep Stellar-Conduct going. The characters below either enable the reaction directly, buff its damage, or provide healing and shields while still applying Cryo.

Note: While her Elemental Skill is active, Qiqi raises the party’s Stellar-Conduct damage by 50 percent, and Diona adds a 40 percent Stellar-Conduct damage increase along with a 200 Elemental Mastery buff. Both also handle healing, so they cover sustainability and buffing in one slot.

Electro characters that fit the reaction

Electro provides the second half of the reaction. Off-field Electro appliers are the most valuable because they keep the element on enemies while your Main DPS stays on the field. These characters cannot start Stellar-Conduct on their own; a converter must be present.

Yae Miko is the standout off-field Electro enabler. Her continuous Electro application from her turrets keeps the reaction firing while an on-field Cryo DPS like Sandrone does the heavy lifting, and her recent buffs make Stellar-Conduct her strongest team. At C1, which is available for free through Temper Thy Fate, she also adds useful buffing.

Support units that add value without the reaction

Some characters have no direct tie to Stellar-Conduct but still boost these teams through resistance shred, Elemental Mastery buffs, or extra Cryo damage. Anemo units are especially useful for grouping enemies and lowering both Cryo and Electro resistance with the Viridescent Venerer set.

The four roles to fill

Every functional team needs one converter, at least one Cryo and one Electro applier, and a slot for sustain or buffs. The Main DPS is the most flexible role since it mainly needs to be a solid on-field driver for your off-field enablers.

Characters that fill the same slot do not perform equally. Yae Miko as your Electro enabler, for example, outputs more than the other Electro options in that role. Pick the strongest unit you own for each slot.

Team examples to copy

Mixing the roles above produces many working teams. The setups below cover premium options, budget builds, and different Main DPS choices.

For a full free-to-play version, Sandrone with Beidou, Diona, and Fischl covers everything. Beidou drops enemy Cryo resistance by 15 percent and hands out 200 Elemental Mastery, Diona buffs Stellar-Conduct damage by 40 percent while healing, and Fischl gives reliable off-field Electro to keep the reaction rolling.

You know it worked when the Polestar Field appears around enemies and your Cryo and Electro hits start recording as stacks. More stacks mean larger field bonuses, so keep both elements landing instead of treating the reaction as a one-off. The single common failure is leaving out the converter, which reverts Cryo and Electro back to ordinary Superconduct.
