Lucy arrives in Wuthering Waves with Version 3.4 as one of the two characters from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration. She is a 5-star Spectro main DPS who uses Pistols, and her whole kit borrows the quickhack fantasy from Night City. Instead of spamming basic attacks, she stacks resources, dives into a Protocol Interface, and converts her Heavy Attack into a chained burst that nukes marked enemies.
Quick answer: Run Lucy with her signature pistol Spectral Trigger, the Nightmare of Shattered Dreams and Vanished Ghosts 1-piece set plus a 2-piece Spectro and 2-piece ATK combination, the Adam Smasher main Echo, and CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG on your 4-cost. Pair her with Rebecca and a healer for her strongest team.

How Lucy plays as a Spectro DPS
Lucy is a Heavy Attack and Hack – Shifting damage dealer who cycles between two states. In her base state she builds TCP through Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill – Payload, and Resonance Skill – Pulse Interference. Once TCP hits 100, those skills become Resonance Skill – Deadlock, which pushes her into Algorithm Compaction and sets up her core loop.
While in Algorithm Compaction she gains a 65% Spectro DMG Bonus and a stack of SQL. Her attacks upgrade to Thread Shredding and Single Threading, which build Root Access. At 100 Root Access, Single Threading becomes Dual Threading and chains into Heavy Attack – Multi-threading. Spending SQL on Multi-threading raises that attack’s damage multiplier by 270%, making it her biggest burst window, and it also upgrades her Resonance Liberation into the stronger Old Net Deep Dive.
Her Resonance Liberation opens the Protocol Interface, where she spends RAM on Spoofing Programs to mark, debuff, and damage enemies before triggering Override. Note: one of these programs, Cyberpsychosis, can convert Common Class enemies into neutral units, which is a CC tool rather than a damage source.

Best weapons for Lucy
Lucy wants CRIT-focused pistols since she scales with Heavy Attack damage. Her signature pistol, Spectral Trigger, is the clear best in slot and comes from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners banners during Version 3.4.

| Weapon | Rarity | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Spectral Trigger | 5★ | Signature. 588 ATK, 48.6% CRIT DMG. Grants 12% ATK, stacking Spectro DMG on Resonance Skill, plus 25% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification and 10% DEF ignore when applying Hack – Shifting. |
| Phasic Homogenizer | 5★ | Standard banner option. 588 ATK, 48.6% CRIT DMG. Gives 12% ATK and 20% All-Attribute DMG after a teammate casts a Tune Break skill. |
| Lux & Umbra | 5★ | Limited pistol with partial Heavy Attack buffs. |
| Solar Flame | 4★ | Best budget pick. Battle pass weapon with Heavy Attack DMG Bonus on hit. |
| Relativistic Jet | 4★ | Gacha pistol. Grants energy and 20% ATK after Resonance Skill. |
Best Echo sets and main Echo
As a collab character, Lucy uses the Nightmare of Shattered Dreams and Vanished Ghosts set, which activates from a single Echo. That single Echo is the 4-cost Adam Smasher, dropped during the Cyberpunk Edgerunners story when you defeat him. Because the set effect comes from one piece, your full layout is 1-piece plus a 2-piece plus another 2-piece.
The 1-piece set effect increases her CRIT Rate by 15% and raises her Basic Attack and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 35% for 15 seconds when she applies Hack – Shifting. From there, pick any two of the available 2-piece options to fill out the build.
| Set piece | Effect |
|---|---|
| Nightmare of Shattered Dreams and Vanished Ghosts (1-pc) | On Hack – Shifting: +15% CRIT Rate, +35% Basic and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for 15s. |
| Spectro DMG (2-pc) | Spectro DMG +10%. |
| ATK (2-pc) | ATK +10%. |
| Energy Regen (2-pc) | Alternative second set if you need more energy. |
The Adam Smasher main Echo is mandatory because it carries the set. When equipped by Lucy or Rebecca, it adds 15% CRIT Rate and replaces the Echo Skill with a Sandevistan-style effect. Tapping deals 273.60% Spectro DMG to nearby enemies, while holding deals the same damage and enters a movement state that speeds Lucy up and slows surrounding enemies, on a 20-second cooldown.
Best Echo main stats and sub-stats
Build her around CRIT and Spectro DMG, then top up energy with sub-stats so her Liberation comes online on time. Aim for a Resonance Efficiency near 125%.
| Slot | Main stat |
|---|---|
| Cost 4 | CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG |
| Cost 3 | Spectro DMG Bonus (or ATK%) |
| Cost 3 | Spectro DMG Bonus / Energy Regen |
| Cost 1 | ATK% |
| Cost 1 | ATK% |
For sub-stats, prioritize CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, then ATK%, then Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. Keep some Energy Regen (around 18–20%) in the mix if your rotation feels starved.
Best Lucy teams
Rebecca is Lucy’s locked-in partner, and she is given out for free during the collab, so every player who pulls Lucy already has her best sub-DPS. Rebecca shares the Hack system and helps keep enemies in the right state for Lucy’s Heavy Attack and Hack bursts. From there you only need a sustain unit who fits long on-field rotations.

| Team | Sub-DPS | Sustain |
|---|---|---|
| Premium (collab) | Rebecca | Mornye |
| Hack alternate | Rebecca | Shorekeeper / Verina |
| Heavy Attack | Iuno | Shorekeeper / Verina |
| General support | Lynae | Shorekeeper / Verina |
| Budget | Mortefi (4★) | Verina |
If you do not have Rebecca built or want a non-collab option, Iuno is the best dedicated Heavy Attack support because her Outro gives the incoming Resonator Heavy Attack DMG Amplification. Mortefi is the cheapest pick that still matters, since his Outro also grants Heavy Attack DMG Amplification. Verina and Shorekeeper are interchangeable healers across all of these setups.
Lucy Resonance Chains worth pulling for
Lucy is fully playable at S0, but two sequences stand out if you want to invest. S2 increases her starting RAM to 32 and raises her Multi-threading multiplier increase from 100% to 200% when she has SQL, which meaningfully reshapes her burst. S6 extends her control and pushes damage even higher against Hack – Shifting targets.
| Sequence | What it does |
|---|---|
| S1 | Interruption immunity during key skills, ATK buff after Intro, debuff spreading. |
| S2 | Higher starting RAM and significantly higher Multi-threading multipliers. |
| S3 | Higher Override multipliers plus CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG on cast. |
| S4 | Team-wide 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus on Hack – Shifting. |
| S5 | Survivability and an emergency shield. |
| S6 | Large damage increase and extended stasis duration. |
Lucy released on June 8, 2026, on a limited collab banner that runs through July 9, 2026. Lock in Spectral Trigger and the Adam Smasher Echo, keep Rebecca on the field with her, and you will have a Spectro carry whose Heavy Attack chains hit hard once the rotation clicks.
