The default theme on Windows 10 sets the Task Bar colour to black, which looks plain, simple and compliments most backgrounds. However, it can do better. You can change the Task Bar colour on Windows 10 by simply changing the theme on your PC from Windows settings.

To do this, click on the ‘Settings’ gear icon in the ‘Start’ menu.

Click on Settings from the Start menu.

Then, from the Windows settings screen, click on ‘Personalization’.

Select Personalization.

On the next screen, select ‘Colors’ option from the left panel.

Then scroll down a bit on the right pane until you see the ‘Colors’ section. From here, select a color scheme you’d like to set as the theme color of your PC. You can also create a new color with the Custom color option.

After selecting a Color scheme, tick the checkbox for ‘Start, taskbar and action centre’ to apply the theme color to the Taskbar and other places as well. This option will be visible right below the color selection area.

Windows 10 will apply the changes right after you select a color and enable theming for the Taskbar, so you should see the Taskbar color change as you swift through the color options.
