The Disruption Ends is a Level 15 Horde quest in The Barrens, started and turned in with Thork at The Crossroads. It follows on from Disrupt the Attacks and sends you into the Razormane quilboar camps to thin their numbers and kill the leader behind the raids on Durotar’s caravans.

Quick answer: Slay 8 Razormane Geomancers and 8 Razormane Defenders in the camps northeast of The Crossroads, defeat Kreenig Snarlsnout to loot his tusk, then return to Thork.

The Disruption Ends requirements and quick facts

All three objectives are completed in a single area, so one trip through the camps handles everything. You need one free inventory slot to pick up Kreenig Snarlsnout’s Tusk from his corpse, since it is a required drop.

Where to find the Razormane camps in The Barrens

The quilboar encampments lie northeast of The Crossroads, in the rocky ravines east of Thorn Hill, beside Durotar’s northern and northeastern mountain edges. Kreenig Snarlsnout patrols the rearmost camp against the hill’s north face, around coordinates 58, 26. The Razormane Geomancers and Defenders you need are in the camps along the route to him.

An elite, Elder Mystic Razorsnout, roams near Kreenig and can be mistaken for him. He heals and drops totems, so avoid pulling him by accident, especially if you approach from the west.

How to complete The Disruption Ends

Leave The Crossroads to the east and take the path to the thorn camps at Thorn Hill. Go through the canyon entrance, where Razormane Defenders and Geomancers roam the outer area.
If other players are fighting in the area, invite them to a party. The mobs are densely packed with a fast respawn, and kills plus tusk credit are shared, which speeds everything up.

Work through the camps and kill Razormane Defenders and Razormane Geomancers until each count reaches 8/8. Pull one or two at a time where you can, since respawns can two-shot a low-level character. The Geomancers cast, so interrupt or close on them quickly.

Push deeper toward the rear of the encampment near the quilboar tents, campfires and supply barrels, where Kreenig Snarlsnout patrols. He looks like the other quilboars, so check each one as you go.

Follow the camp pathways into the torch-lit alcove against the mountain. If you prefer, climb the ridge behind the camp and drop in from the back to pull Kreenig with fewer adds.

If Kreenig is not up, wait near the rear tents and crates and clear the local Razormane Mystics while he respawns. He is a semi-reliable spawn, so give it a few minutes if someone killed him just before you arrived.

Kill Kreenig Snarlsnout when he comes into range and loot Kreenig Snarlsnout’s Tusk from his body. The objective updates to 1/1. He is a normal Level 15 mob, not an elite, so he goes down quickly.
Finish off any remaining Geomancers or Defenders on the way out until both counts hit 8/8, then ride back west to The Crossroads and hand the tusk to Thork.

Rewards for turning in the tusk to Thork

Confirming the quest is complete

The quest completes the moment you select a belt and click Complete Quest in Thork’s dialog, and it drops off your quest log. To check whether your character has already finished it, run this command in the chat box.

/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(872))

A result of true means the quest is done on that character. Note that The Disruption Ends was replaced by The Far Watch Offensive in patch 4.0.3a, so it only appears on Classic-era realms.
