The rarest loot in Storage Hunters: Open World does not sit in a hidden room or behind a special container. Exclusive items are tied to the weather. When the sky turns rainy or moonlit, a small pool of high-value items becomes possible in auction containers, and that window is the only time you can pull them.
Quick answer: Win auction containers in any area during Rainy Weather to farm the Rubber Duck and Camping Backpack, and during Moonlit Weather to chase the Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus. Push your luck as high as possible first, since the two Moonlit items have the lowest spawn chance.
All four Exclusive items, values, and weather
There are four Exclusive items in the game right now. Two spawn only in the rain, two only under the moon. Here is what each one is worth and when it can appear.
| Item | Rarity / Value | Weather |
|---|---|---|
![]() Rubber Duck | Rare · $150 | Rainy Weather |
![]() Camping Backpack | Epic · $300 | Rainy Weather |
![]() Vampire Bat Valk | Legendary · $7,500 | Moonlit Weather |
![]() Vampire Dominus | Mythical · $50,000 | Moonlit Weather |
Two of these double as accessories. The Camping Backpack gives +54% Luck and -32% Arrow Speed when equipped, which makes it useful to keep rather than sell straight away. The Vampire Bat Valk gives +4.7% Tip Chance and -5% Luck.

The Exclusive items are not locked to a specific area, container type, or auction zone. They can appear inside any container you win, from the Junkyard all the way up to the late-game zones. The single factor that matters is the weather that is currently active in your server.
Rainy Weather turns on the Rubber Duck and Camping Backpack pool. Moonlit Weather turns on the Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus pool. Outside those two weather states, none of the four can drop, so grinding auctions on a clear day does nothing for your Collection Book.
Spawn chances are weighted by value. The Rubber Duck shows up most often, and the Camping Backpack also appears fairly frequently while it is raining. The Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus are far rarer because of their much higher sale price, so expect a lot of Moonlit containers before either one lands.
How to farm Exclusive items
Mutations and repeat farming
Exclusive items can spawn with mutations, which raises their sale value well above the base price listed above. You can also apply mutations to Exclusive items you already own using the Time Capsule near the Shopping Mall.
None of these items are one-time pickups. You can obtain each one as many times as you want, so once your Collection Book entry is filled, extra copies are pure profit. Winning as many Rainy and Moonlit auctions as possible is the fastest way to bank net worth from a single weather cycle.
Why the item is not showing up
If a full farming session produced nothing, the reason is almost always one of these:
- The weather was clear. Rubber Duck and Camping Backpack only appear during Rainy Weather, and Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus only during Moonlit Weather.
- You chased the wrong item for the current weather. Moonlit sessions cannot drop the rain items, and vice versa.
- Low luck. The Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus have very low spawn chances, so a dry streak is normal without high luck stacked.
Line up your luck, watch for the right sky, and treat every rain or moon window as a farming sprint. The Rubber Duck and Camping Backpack fill out your collection early, while the Vampire Bat Valk and Vampire Dominus are the payouts worth grinding those Moonlit nights for.
