Inferlupa is the No. 4 entry in the Aniilog, a Nova stage Fire and Dark Aniimo built around the Break role. It never appears in the wild, and it will not show up as an evolution option on a Flameruff until you have cleared a side quest in Beast Fang Ridge that plays out over several real-world days.
Quick answer: Finish the Journey: Warrior quest in Beast Fang Ridge, farm 6 Unbroken Flameruff Spirits from Flameruff – The Mighty, then evolve a level 20 Flameruff using those spirits and one Night Stone.
Everything you need before the Inferlupa evolution unlocks
Four things gate this evolution. Three of them are materials and quest progress, and one of them is simply a Flameruff you are willing to spend.
| Requirement | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Flameruff at Aniimo level 20 | Evolve an Emberpup at Lv. 12, or catch one in the wild |
| Journey: Warrior completed | Side quest in Beast Fang Ridge, spread over multiple days |
| Unbroken Flameruff Spirit x6 | Drops from Flameruff – The Mighty |
| Night Stone x1 | Drops from any Dark-element Alpha Aniimo |
Flameruff itself is easy enough to source. It spawns in Nimbus Fields at levels 5 to 15, The Argent Strait at 28 to 32, Beast Fang Ridge at 30 to 35, and Echoback Landing at 36 to 40.
Flameruff branches at level 20. The other path turns it into Scorchhowl with a Blaze Stone after you beat the Alpha Scorchhowl, and picking one closes the other on that creature. Keep a spare Flameruff if you want both.

This is the part that takes patience. Journey: Warrior does not finish in one sitting because the campfire dialogue only advances after the daily server reset, so plan on three separate play sessions on three different days. Wild Aniimo in Beast Fang Ridge sit between level 30 and 35, so bring a team that can handle that range.
Day one: find the campfire and fight Inferlupa

Day two: return after the server reset
Day three: the final Inferlupa battle
How to farm 6 Unbroken Flameruff Spirits
Once the quest chain has moved past the first encounter, go back to the clearing where you fought Inferlupa, this time during the daytime. Named enemies called Flameruff – The Mighty patrol the area, and they are the only source of the spirits.
The drop rate is low. Expect to clear several groups before you hit six, since a successful kill often yields a single spirit at a time. If you have wiped out everything in the clearing, fast-travel away and come back to force a respawn instead of standing around waiting.

Releasing an Inferlupa returns 6 Unbroken Flameruff Spirits along with 2 Growth Flowers, so a duplicate is not wasted material.
Where to get the Night Stone
The evolution also consumes one Night Stone. These come from Dark-element Alpha Aniimo, so any Dark Alpha you can reliably beat works as a farming target. You only need a single stone per Inferlupa, so this is usually the least demanding item on the list.

Evolving Flameruff into Inferlupa

How to confirm you have Inferlupa
After the animation finishes, the creature is listed as No. 4 in the Aniilog with the Break role and dual Fire and Dark elements, and Twining with it grants the Hustle mobility ability. Its base stats should read as follows.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 95 |
| Attack | 89 |
| P.Def | 70 |
| M.Def | 80 |
| Break | 108 |
| Regen | 99 |
| Base total | 541 |
Its skill list is the other tell. A freshly evolved Inferlupa carries Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, Hunting Pack, Crossfire and Blazing Wolf Assault, with Wolfpack Onslaught as the ultimate and a close-range Dark basic attack. The Full Energy trait kicks in after eight basic attacks and empowers the next skill you use.
Prismana Inferlupa cannot be evolved
This Prismana variant is its own Season 1 creature, identified as No. S1A, and cannot be obtained through evolution. Capture it during a Prismana Flow, with only one allowed to exist at once. The Vein Abundance event schedules it for October 12 to 18, 2026, extending the window from the 19th through the 25th when it appears with the other Season 1 Prismana.

For everyone else, the standard Inferlupa is worth the three-day wait. Its Break value of 108 is the highest in the roster, and Unbroken Flameruff Spirit stacks a 10 percent Break efficiency debuff up to three times, which makes it the fastest way to open a damage window for whichever Fire or Dark attacker you pair it with.
