How to Get Into the Hidden Bunker in Fortnite’s Star Wars Droid Tycoon

Droid Tycoon hides a sealed event bunker behind a heavy iron gate, and that gate stays shut until the Kyber Event countdown finishes. Normal movement and pickaxe swings do nothing against it. There is a way in right now, though, using a weapon you can pull from your own base and a specific spot on the outer wall.

Quick answer: Equip the Amban Sniper Rifle from the Combat Points weapon wall, stand under the red Rebel Alliance banner to the right of the bunker gate, crouch then stand, and fire the rifle’s melee thrust to phase through the wall.

What you need before you start

The trick relies entirely on the Amban Sniper Rifle. Its forward melee thrust is what pushes your character through the bunker’s collision wall, so no other weapon on the wall will work the same way.

After 3 Rebirths, the Amban Sniper Rifle unlocks as a Mythic weapon in your base Armory. It occupies the top-left slot on the Combat Points weapon wall, which is on your base’s upper platform. If it has not appeared yet, keep rebirthing until it does.

Get inside the locked bunker

Return to your base and head upstairs to the weapon wall for Combat Points. Interact with its upper-left slot and claim the Amban Sniper Rifle to equip it in your hands.

Run back across the map to the locked secret event bunker. Move to the right side of the closed gate, where a red Rebel Alliance banner hangs down over the wall.

Tuck yourself directly beneath the hanging flap of that banner, pressed against the wall. Crouch down first, then stand back up so your character is lined up under the cloth.

With the Amban Sniper Rifle equipped, press the attack or fire button (the right trigger on a controller). The rifle’s forward melee thrust pushes your character through the wall’s collision and into the bunker hallway.

If you do not clip through on the first try, re-center under the banner, repeat the crouch-then-stand, and trigger the melee attack again.

How to confirm you made it in

Once the thrust connects, you walk straight down a hallway into an underground chamber. You will know it worked when the room opens up in front of you: Professor Huyang stands beside a floating green Kyber Crystal display, with hologram screens and wall-mounted equipment around the space.

What’s inside the Kyber Event bunker

The chamber is built around the Kyber Event. Three wall-mounted consoles let you unlock Green, Blue, and Purple lightsabers, and each one is gated behind the same requirement. To open a color, you must activate 20 unique Kyber Droids of that matching color. The consoles start at 0/20 until you begin activating droids.

A wall diagram inside the room lays out how world missions and droids feed into Kyber crystal drops. The crystal color you receive follows a fixed split, and the rarer the color, the lower the chance.

The rest of the room fills out the crafting side of the event. There is a Kyber crystal workbench alongside Professor Huyang, battery canisters, and wall slots tied to the crafting displays. It is a preview of the mechanics that go live once the countdown ends, so getting in early only lets you look around, not skip the activation grind for the lightsabers themselves.
