Where Red Dragon Idols Come From in Operation: Egg Heist
Three sources inside the mode put the relic in your backpack. All of them require you to be inside Operation: Egg Heist, so there is no way to farm the idol out in the open regions.
- Treasure chests: Opening chests scattered through the mode can yield the idol. Chest contents are random, and higher-rarity chests hold more valuable loot.
- Umbral enemies: Defeating the Umbral enemies found inside the sanctums has a chance to drop the relic.
- Agate Idol gathering: Picking up an Agate Idol node in the world grants exactly one Red Dragon Idol per pickup.
Running the Egg Heist to Farm Idols
Operation: Egg Heist Team Mode supports 1 to 3 players against enemies at level 45 to 50. The goal is to reach the Lost Sanctum among the island ruins, collect rare eggs, and leave by boat. Clearing chests and sanctum enemies along that route is what builds up your stock of relics.
Should your Aniimo faint during the run, all backpack contents and equipped gear are forfeited. Red Dragon Idols collected earlier are lost as well, so consider what you carry and equip before venturing farther.
Selling Red Dragon Idols for Eggshell Coins
The relic exists to be sold. One Red Dragon Idol trades for 143,397 Eggshell Coins, the currency used to buy items from the Operation: Egg Heist Shop. Like other Ancient Relics, it cannot be equipped or consumed, so converting it to coins is the point.
Open your inventory to sell it, press the Sell control in the screen’s bottom-right corner, then confirm the Red Dragon Idol under Ancient Relics.
